Thanks, fellas!
Swanny, the Arii kits certainly do pose their challenges, but they're cheap 'n' fun! Any idea how many WWII kits they put out?

Madda, before I left for Japan I put everything into storage back in the States. That's why I took pix of everything before I left.
Thought I'd be back in a coupla years, and now I'm working on my eleventh! Funny how that works.

Allan: Well, all armor and no aircraft make J-Hulk a dull boy, no?
Check out my Japanese castle in the Diorama forum, too!

Also, there are three new pix in the first post of this topic. Just close-ups of the same models.
If you can see anything needin' fixin' in those pix, please let me know!

I have a small stack of the Arii kits in my stash so I know exactly what you are talking about. Looks like your modeling skills definitly rose to the challege - good job.

This certainly wont help the armor forum pull a fast one of the aircraft forum. Great job, JHulk! I thought Id never see the day when you start posting aircraft pics.

I think you should do a Shiden Kai to go along with them, those look great by the way. How come you still keep stuff here in storage?

Doumo, doumo!
That's just from washin' and dry brushin', as I had no AB those many moons ago.

Dwight, if I built any 1/32 Tamiya AC, it'd have to be the beautiful F4J!

Ya'll are way too kind! Shy [8)]
I do appreciate the positive feedback, though.
Wait a second...perhaps it is all just a clever ruse to lure J-Hulk completely over to the AC forum! Woo him with praise to ply him away from the armor!
And now you know his weakness...Testors Contour Putty! It's like Kryptonite...strength waning...resolve to build armor dissolving...must...build...Su-27...must...build...F-86...

But only after I get to work on my 1/16 Tiger I!

Buwahahahaha! Ya thought ya had me, didn't ya?

Well, I...oooooo, wait a minute...that 1/32 F-105D sure looks cool...Wink [;)]

J-hulk, those a great looking planes you got there. Planes??? Hey wait a minute what does this mean? What are we threadheads doing here?

LOL. Just kidding my friend. Love the pic. Great job. How I wish I had done as well as you in the A/C department. A/C? Ooops, I slipped.

Gotta go now. See ya. He-he-he.

Thanks for the pictures, Brian!

That's the wonderful thing about a good build; regardless HOW old they are, they still are breathtaking to look at!

Thumbs up!

They look great, Brian ! Nice, subtle weathering.
I do have a question, though. Were you to build them today, with your armor experience, would you be tempted to bang 'em up & add dirt?

Looking forward to seeing more. And have fun with your new toy !

Thanks for the kind words, folks!
I reckon they're not too bad for models I built 9 years ago, back in my "lazy hack" days!

Really nice J Hulk. Especially since you used rattle cans. It's nice to hear the some people still get a great result from old school techniques.

Keep up the great work

Hey J-hulk I think Squadron still makes the Vac-formed canopies for the old Otaki & Arii kits, but besides the problems they look great I wish Mine would come out that nice,
