You gonna go for the controversial "caramel" color for the base?

You would be correct sir!
Just finished pre-shading it (and JU-88). Color coats tomorrow, as soon as I figure out a good color mix.

Nice !
"Handy" feet are back at it!!!
Added clear/colored nav. lights.
There was a nasty gap at the rear of the wing/fuse joint, big enough to CA some styrene in as filler.
Sanded down and rescribed.
Way down, at the tail, there was some pretty bad dimples...top and bottom.
I'm not a putty user, and building up sufficient layers of CA would take too long, so I drilled out the dimples.
I stretched (a little bit), some sprue for plugs.
The top is a perfect fit, but since the sprue has been stretched, there's a small gap around the bottom. I filled the gap with CA, heated up a blade and pressed it to the bottom of the plug. This "mushrooms" the plug, filling the hole.
Sand it all down...no more dimples!!!
As she sits now.

As usual great work Fermis, that engine wired in 1/72nd- I wish my hands were that steady.
Hey Fermis- thanks for posting the link to your tea can seats toot. Really cool.
I've been looking forward to seeing you build this, as I've been wanting this kit since I heard the release announcement but after this http://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Reviews&file=index&req=showcontent&id=7506 , I'm not gonna lay out $30 for it. I know you hit the vendor tables for your stash, but I haven't been that lucky with this kit yet.

Looking forward to seeing it all built up. I almost picked the kit up at the LHS last weekend but it was a bit more than I wanted to pay for a 1/72 kit so I will build it vicariously through you.
