haha I hear ya, Jay Jay! I've always been a big seaplane fan, and I hope you have a good time at that IPMS show! My He 115 is ALL complete and ready for action! Hope you guys dig the photos, I'm afraid it looks a bit out of place....a kitchen counter is no place for a seaplane...but as soon as I'm all set working on another project, I'll be working on a diorama for my Heinkel. Thanks to everyone who offered me positive words of encouragement! This was a fun build, and I HIGHLY recommend this kit to anyone.
The clear parts required quite a bit of masking, and I think that was honestly the toughest part. So if you end up buying this kit, make sure you spend the money and buy that Eduard die cut masking kit for this plane, you'll be glad you did! You might have to fiddle with the masking kit however, since it is for the "Revell" He-115, not the "Matchbox" one....but the clear parts for the matchbox kit are 99.9% identical to the Revell ones, so you should have very little difficulty!
