You have been building models for around a year and a half and this fantastic piece is #17. Thanks for sharing. Now I will retire to a corner, eat some humble pie, and maybe suck my thumb for a little while:). knox

Thanks, Offduty, greatly appreciated! It was a very fun and enjoyable build, I couldn't put it down, and, the German engineering in it is top notch, that similar to a recent Tamiya kit, it falls together! You should build one of yours now, you won't be disappointed! Cheers, Martin :)

Martin - Welcome to FSM, you will be a great addition to the forums. Your build and finishing is just incredible, a stellar representation of an aircraft in military service, completely believable in all respects. I've been a modeler for many decades, I would love to be able to do that well. Thanks so much for posting, I hope we'll see much more from you.

Weathering is outstanding looks to be a fun but challenging build. I have 2 on the shelf with a hand full of aftermarket to go with them.

Hello Everyone, I've just joined FSM and have enjoyed looking at some of the impressive builds over the last 15 months since I started building in January 2014 after retiring in June 2013. I've learned a lot of modeling skills from watching other modelers videos on YouTube and their build threads in modeling forums, and, I feel I've come quite a way since my first build wherein I had no knowledge of things such as priming, pre-shading, pin-washes, washes, filters, chipping, post-shading etc. So, with that said, I'd like to share with you my latest, build #17 since I started modeling, which is the fabulous kit manufactured by Revell of Germany that is very well engineered, highly detailed and which I built out of the box. My only additions were scratch built tie-ropes at the sides of the fuselage, the float and strut rigging and the tie cable that goes from the port-side wing to the portside fuselage when the wing is displayed folded back. I also added the antenna cables.
