scottrc Nice work Mr. Toshi! Wow, a 1/32 F4? You must have big hanger for all these large scale birds. Toshi Thank you very much gentleman, I highly appreciate the praise and the read and reply! As I mentioned above, this build took me a little longer than anticipated but it worked out well in the end. Next up? Monogram 1:32 F4-G Phantom II Wild Weasel.

Very nicely done Mr. Toshi ! The hand done airbrushed camo looks spot on, very curageous of you not to use masks but you pulled it off well.
I'm finally retired. Now time I got, money I don't.
Another beauty Toshi! Those 1/32 Tamiya's look sooo nice! On to the next:)

A fine looking Spit, Toshi. Another notch in your building belt. Nice work on such a huge kit.

To my fellow forum members,
This particular build took me a little longer. I was having some difficulty with my memory and it took me awhile to get back to normal. Mrs. Toshi said it's just old age. LOL!
In finalizing this build, I AB a coat of grey for the bottom of the Mk VIII. Then with a free hand I AB the gray/green camouflage. Once that dried, I used the Testors CreateFX brown, gray, black, and natural stain overlying each other to give the weathering some depth. I then went back to a technique I haven't utilized since my first build, a P-61.
I added the salt technique just to see how the outcome would change the weathering. If I didn't like it, I could always re-shoot the camouflage. I didn't mind doing that as that was really fun. Overall, I think it turned out ok. Please see the photos below, thank you!
