Looks great 

 

Here's a few more photos of the Me 262. The assembly process was done while watching Sunday Night Football.  That game was between the Philidelphia Eagles and the Carolina Panthers.  I never had much trust in the Eagles QB Sam Bradford, now the Panthers QB Cam Newton played lights out hence the Panthers victory as well as being one of the few undefeated teams 6 and 0.

Anyway, without boring you with NFL stats, here are the photos of progress.

Nice work Toshi on both the cockpit and the gun bay. You've come a long way in a short time! 

I still have the old Hasegawa Me-262 tossed in a junk box of old models that I rob for spare parts every now and then but the box is buried under a bunch of other stuff and I didn't feel like dragging it out. If I get time I might see if I can find it though.  

Nce work, Toshi!  That 'pit looks pretty cool with the translucent plastic around it.  It puts an odd light into the cockpit so you can see the details differently. 

I'll be watching this build, I have one of those in my stash.  I've included some aftermarket PE and resin in my box, though, but being a clear edition, I want to make sure my skills are up to the task.

Boy Howdy, you've got the touch rolling now Toshi. Great work on bringing the interior to life. That wonderful work is going to really pop through the clear fuslage. Magnificent stuff indeed.

Man Toshi. This is just looking great so far. The detail work is looking good as is the painting. Trumpeter has a nasty habit of putting rubber tires in their kits. If you feel froggy there are a couple of sets of resin wheel/ tire assys out there. It depends on if you want to wait on these but the rubber tires will give you trouble later on.

Here are some progess photos of the "Visible Me 262".  Thank you forum members.

Excellent progress Toshi. Looks like you had to do a good bit of putty work on the engines. What was the issue there?

Sorry to hear that the engine pods gave you a fit.That seems to be the bane on Me 262 kits in general (been my experience at least.) Looks like you got those under control and you're on your way.I've been sick for almost two weeks now with a bad head/chest cold and working on another model project helps to take my mind off how crummy I feel!
