Very, very nice Toshi! She looks ready for combat now.I thought of you the other day while I was in Hobbytown USA.They had the 1/32 Monogram Visible P-51D kit for sale and it hit me: I bet Toshi would make that kit look great! Again excellent job my friend and now celebrate your victory!

That is a truly superb effort on your part Toshi. Be very proud of yourself as you have built a top notch model. Your splinter camo is very nicely done and your use of the yellow on the interior is certainly novel for it's purpose. Nice thinking. Thank You for sharing your obviously elevated talent and skills with us. CHEERS!!

That turned out really well, Toshi! I think you could've gotten away with using a red in there as well and it would've looked just as cool. A light blue would've been neat too. :)

This, my friend, is truly a mile stone in your ability to make a professional model. How does it feel to be one of those guys that people look up to? Don't laugh. I guarantee there are people looking at this build and thinking, just as you did not so long ago, to themselves "I wish I could do that".

I think you need to make a small section of runway for this one. The ceiling is too high to display the coolness factor of this build and it needs a bit of a showcase. Time to further those base making skills  ;)

I know this one makes you feel good, and it should. You did an excellent job on it!  :D

Thank you sir!  I've been inquiring of the Phantom P-51.  That is a great old school kit.

You know, those colors might just do a great job if not better than what I painted with.  Yes, I was looking into a small plexi-glass case display. The runway idea is very tempting.  Thank you so much for your interest and support in my builds.

Not a problem, my friend. You've earned the praise form everyone here. You've taken advice with eagerness and you triumph over every build and advance in skill so rapidly that soon enough, we won't be able to help you so much anymore lol.

I'm just curious as to when you'll be brave enough to enter your work into the reader's gallery   :)

Beautiful build as before, Toshi.  Impressive how quickly you could turn out a great kit. Newcomers to the forums may find it hard to believe how quickly youve honed your skills.

I have sent in a few builds that I felt were decent enough.  I have to see if I can get the Sky Raider and this build in.  Thanks for looking out for me.  I really appreciate it!  You don't know how much this means to me, I'm honored.

Thanks Gamera, I had no idea that it was called a splinter camo.  I continue to learn everyday.  Thanks for the visit!

Hey, Toshi,

Somehow I missed this one coming together, but I just saw it and wanted to say that you did a fantastic job on it! I like the way you paint one side and leave the other clear. Now I'm wishing I had done that on my Monogram Phantom Mustang. Have you built this one yet? Revell has re-released it recently, and it's a lot of fun, even if it is a pretty old kit.

Once again, great work!

There you go Toshi, a Phantom Mustang would fit our Mustang build.

To Model Crazy,

I have already taken care of that.  I have in hand a Tamiya 1:32 P-51D Mustang "Silver Chrome Plated" Special Edition.  As soon as I'm done with the F-15, I'll definately sign up to the Mustang Group Build.  Thanks for inviting me.
