Lovely looking finish Toshi. I love a nice Stuka and you have done the old girl proud. G has you covered on the exhausts, and the rest looks just fine.

And it was a good move leaving the wing racks empty given the big boy you have underneath.

As I was preparing to weather the Stuka, Mrs. Toshi took a look at it and said to leave it without weathering.  It's the first time she had ever added any input to the actual build.  Usually she'll let me do what I want with it.  

Since this was her first ever input, you'll see the Stuka completed as is.  In all honesty, I really like the "Museum" look to it.  I think it's pretty cool.  I guess that's what we men call "Woman's Intuition".

Hey Toshi she turned out great! You even did a great job on that cursed, vile, difficult, colour yellow which I hate more than any other...  And the canopy looks perfect. 

One little tiny nitpick though, are you painting the engine exhaust pipes? They look sorta odd in the same yellow as the cowling. All you need is a little rusty brown paint and a small brush- shouldn't take more than three or four minutes.

Toshi, nice to see you tackling a Stuka, a real beast to go with your beauty the Mosquito! 

Great job so far, masking that canopy was epic- like Bish I consider the pre-cut canopy masks to be worth their weight in gold. I absolutly hate trying to mask off canopies esp the really complex ones like this. The splinter camo came out terrific! 

Just for the heck of it you might try doing this sexy Stuka slayer when you get done with your current haul :

Your splinter camoflage came out nicely Toshi! What color did you paint the undersides? It looks like RLM 76 and I think it's supposed to be RLM 78 which is a brighter blue. I made that mistake with mine but it was too late for me to do anything about it. Just wondering.

Nice to see the markings go on, always my favorite part. Just be warned, if you add the droip tanks, that makes it an R-2 not a B-2. If the referance says B-2, and you wnat to stick to that, you will need to add the small bombs to the wings.

Here is where I'm at so far.  I still need to weather the Ju 87B-2 Stuka.  After that, I have the bomb and the drop tanks to prep and attach.  Thank you forum members for the visit.

Ye, thats what its called. Its the standard German scheme for bombers in the first part of the war. Look at any German bomber, He 111, Ju 88 etc, and you will see the same scheme.

You worry, you wil get used to the term on here in time. I have not built a Stuka myself in a couple of years, so i am well over due at least one.

She's looking great and I really love the color scheme.I'm happy to hear you've discovered Hobbytown USA. I get over to my local one (in Mason,Ohio) about once a month on average. If you're ever in Kettering,Ohio sometime check out a shop called Smitty's Hobbies.It's like walking into a time machine / hobby shop from the 1970's. Nice folks too that run the place.
