Simply fantastic!  I've appreciated the quality of Airfix as well.  Unfortuneately they don't have many in 1:48

Simply awesome.   Just ordered 4 of the new Airfix kits. It's all your fault....and an Italeri Me210. Heard good things about this kit too.  Still your fault.

Nice demonstration of patient masking. I'm ready to see some paint on it for sure.

Aargh.. You all are relentless on the weak willed. Have you no compassion. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), current home remodeling has depleted the modeling acount. So, I must resort to blatant hints to the wife unit as to what to get me for my birthday that's coming up right shortly. "I neeeed that Airfix kit!"Wink

Holy crap that interior is amazing! And I mostly mean your work, although Airfix seems to have done its part in the molding department.

Very nicely done - can't wait to see the finished project.

Thanks guys!Toast

It's been a little while...got sidetracked, turning the "catch-all" spare room into a home office (I officially work for myself now!!!).

Anyway, finished up that project this morning and got back to work on the kit! Finished up the pre-shading and some fiddly bits!

Gonna be another slow down now. I promised my old boss I'd help him out for the begining of the season (I can't even get materials for my business until the end of the month)...so, that starts tomorrow.

Very nicely executed pre shade. That ought to look quite sharp under some paint.

Thanks again guys!

It's been too long!!!

Finally squeezed in some bench....er...booth time!

Painted the basic camo (RLM65/70/71). It's a bit sloppy at the belly line, but that matters not!

Earlier today, when I got home from some runnin around....I heard the rumble!!!!

It's that time of year again!!!

(Also had a P-51 fly over at work, last week!)

Thanks, and yes...I love me some rumble!!!

It flies over pretty regularly, the B-25 as well. They're based about 20 minutes away at Willow Run airport. When I was working on my Instrument ticket at Willow Run....many of my taxi clearances were..."follow the B-17 (or B-25)". Taxiing behind that monster rocks a little Cessna!!!

And, not to brag or anything, but....I did get a free ride on the 17 and 25, when they came out to the airport I work at!!!
