Thanks for the compliments.  Unfortunately, this may sound stupid, but after I posted the picture, a few things didn't look right. Today I ripped it apart and remade everything out of aluminum and brass. I'll post updated pictures when it's complete.

Finished the Elevator Trim Tab Controls this evening.  Time to skin the Starboard Stabilizer.

Made a test panel out of .005 thick Aluminum.  Size is just about perfect.  I need to figure out a better way to get the rivets more uniform.

Slow progress.  Added the Rudder Trim Tab Controls and pullies, bulkhead pullies, and made the skin for the starboard veretical fin.

Started working on the Empennage skin and applied the Vertical Fin skin. It looks good from the outside, but when you look at it from the inside, it needs more work. I didn't get it placed correctly before I applied the glue........

New Vertical Fin Skin has been applied and the Leading Edge Skin is ready to apply

Skin for the Tail Section ready to install after the inside of the tail unit is complete.  Access Doors can be seen below the panel.

 

2 Doubler plates are spot welded to the outer panel.

Tail Wheel Up-Lock mechanism installed.  Cables will be pulled tought when fuselage is assembled.
