ROB!!!!

Glad to see you back in here, ole chap!

Excellent work, as always!

Hey Fermis.  How ya been?  Still working at Livingston Co. Airport?  I never left.  Been hanging out in the space section.

Hope all is well

I know where ya been! Was meaning back here in the aircraft section!

Things been good, work for myself now (sealcoating driveways), gettin ready to end the season...gearing up for deer season (only a week and a half away!!!!). I still do the graveyard, snow removal shift at the airport, and fill in here and there during the winter. I worked to airshow back in June, but that's been it all summer.

Wish I'da known...I would have met up with ya. Spent the morning in the red truck, over by the wind sock, directing the planes to their parking areas. Just kinda wandered around, the rest of the day. I know we talked about meeting up, this Spring...things got busy real quick for me! If ya passed through the terminal building...all the models in the front counter display are some of my old stuff.

That's some really fine work Rob.  The engine alone is a model in itself !  Looking forward to seeing it weathered.

Stepped away from the motor for a bit to do some research. Started the Rudder in the mean time. Covered the Starboard side with tissue. The trim tab is phenolic.

Port side will remain skeleton. Trim tab linkage, and tail light wiring are next.

It is very funny though......

Coming along nicely, Rob. Great workmanship as usual.

I wasn't aware of IMCTH and I'm always on the lookout for stuff like this. Reminds me of the old Pocher kits of my kidhood, so thanks for this WIP on a few different levels.

BTW, I passed through Novi for the first time last week. Looks to be a very nice burg.

More Elevator work.  I'm not happy with the way the Starboard Elevator covering came out, so Ill go back to the drawing board on that.

I need to add several clearance holes for the Elevator control cables, trim cables, and rudder cables.

Rob, I must say...I really dig your style. Always a little somethin different from the standard kit maker.

This is quite impressive. You are really making a fine display piece for sure.

Your joins are very clean. How are you affixing them? I can't see a trace of adhesives.
