Words just aint enough Joe. The paint and weathering processes you use bring a nice outcome to the table.

1:32 definitely suits you. =] It is a shame you can't see that engine too well. Very pretty!

Incredible! You should have a "drop the mic" emoji for your post of the done model.

I'm not into German aricraft that much, but may have to take another look at this one.

Beauty of a job with it.  Really like the paint work.

Just outstanding!

You and several other fine modelers on this site are really to be thanked for posting WIP. They help novices like myself immensly.

Lawdog,

Another sweet looking build.  I never thought to cut the tape that way to get the scalloped edge.  I have several schemes that I want to build that call for that and now I have a method.

Your F-8 looks great, Thanks for sharing.

Outstanding work as usual Joe. Your Works In Progress are something I have to see no matter the scale - I believe I'll learn a few techniques yet from watching threads like this.

Off topic, are you a prosecutor, defense attorney, or corporate? I know from your profile in FineScale that you're a "garbage collector" (metaphorically - as you said - speaking) but what is the stressful occupation?

Thanks everyone.  I must admit I'm beginning to prefer this scale.  Very easy on the eyes.  Indeed I will do a WIP with the first Corsair.  I just started cutting sprue last night.  I was going to build them both at the same time but I don't have room at the bench as I just started the new Meng P-51 as well.

My brother and sister-in-law are "garbage collectors" too!   They absolutely love their jobs but they'll tell me most of the time it's a pretty thankless endeavor.  I am extremely grateful to all of you that serve your communities!

Joe, another fine job you have made of it. As someone said, it's "inspirational," and it surely is. I really enjoyed and benefitted from the WIP text and photos. Thanks for it all.

Exceptional. Is the prop spinner masked or is that a decal? If masked, did the mask come with the kit?

Very thankless....and only getting worse.  Fortunately I'm at the tail end of my career and perhaps I can eventually just build models for a living .   Your thanks is appreciated.

It's the kit supplied decal.  Worked great.  Actually these kit decals were outstanding.  I believe they are made by Cartograph in Italy but I'm not sure.
