Thanks all!Toast

I must admit...I'm proud of this one!

... Quick question, what are those massive JDAMs on the conformal racks?  Are they bunker busters?

Those are GBU-31...(BLU-109 with the guidance kit). Don't know that it has a "special" purpose...other than destroying anything that needs to have 2000 pounds of pain dropped directly on it!Toast

The smaller ones are GBU-38's...standard MK82s with the kit attached.

Are you talking about the Revell of Germany version?    it seems to have more ordinance than the Revell F-15E strike eagle version.

John

No. It's the Monogram Pro Modeler (5965) that was out in 2001. I recently picked it up on Ebay for about $30. I was reading the reviews and is the same model Revell has out now but without all the included weapons this one has.

Mine has the following: 4 AIM9's, 2 AIM 120's with LAU 114 rails, ANN/AAQ-13 and 14 navigation and targeting pods, 4 GBU 10's,  2 GBU 15's  and two 610 gallon tanks.

Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!

Gotta echo what everyone else has been saying. Your build is nothing short of stunning and my hat's off to you. I just can't understand why a Strike Eagle kit was released WITHOUT any bombs! I've held this kit in my hands numerous times at the hobby shop. I've heard nothing but good things about the fit and engineering of this kit but I keep putting it back on the shelf because it doesn't come with any air-to-ground ordinance and I don't feel like buying the Hasegawa weapons set.
