Flyin' Low

Looks great Toshi, really nice work and the weathering is awesome.

Thank you sir!  It was somewhat difficult trying to get the weathering done in that scale, at least for me. I'm very happy that you think it's awesome.  Thank you for the visit!

OK, I've stumbled into a parallel universe Big Smile where Toshi has completed another kit at faster than the speed of light.

I'm amazed at how quickly you do these kits Toshi! It wouldn't be so fantastic were it not for the fact that you do such a nice job on all your kits. Kudos.

LOL!  I just have too much time on my hands!  LOL!

The only reason I do a nice job on my kits is due to the inspiaration i get from you all, thank you for that.

Well done, Toshi.  Now you need to do the Academy 1/72 SB2C to go with it.  It is a fine kit.

Thank you jeaton01!  I know!!!  There was a advertisement in the instruction sheet for the F6F Hellcat and the SB2C Helldiver.  I didn't even know they made a Helldiver kit.  I have to go and look for it online!  Thank you so much for the tip, you got me excited.  Thank's for the visit!

Another fantastic job! The canopy masking does indeed look intense, but the finished product makes it worth the effort. You must have needed "Zen patience" for that project. Weathering is excellent. I especially like the prop and cowling weathering. Congrats on another completion. Dman

Dwayne or Dman or just D.  All comments are welcome on my builds.

Thank you very much sir!  The canopy masking took two tries.   It was very difficult as my first try looked liked a first grader did it.  LOL!  I was most sucssesful in the second try.  Well not that good but ok.

You know ManCityFan in the end any project big or small is worth the effort only if it's done right.  Zen patience, Jesus concept, In The Now a Hindu concept etc. is a concept or patience needed when doing such projects.  Of course there's the devil on your right shoulder telling you what not to do!  LOL!

Also thank you on your compliment on the weathering especially on the prop and cowlings.  You sir have been a loyal Forum member and better yet a loyal friend and I am ever indebted to you for that.

Nice work Toshi! That really looks like a combat veteran with the applied weathering.

Thank you roger_wilco.  How have you been?  I missed you there for a while.  I'm glad you're back!  My weathering was done with a natural stained enamel by Testors.  It's really a great product.  I can only find it at Michaels or online.  It's the CREATFX products.

Also picked up somewhat an abundance of CREATFX Black Stain, Brown Stain, Grey Stain, and Wood Stain.  It's the natural stain that I like the most.  Thank you for the support and read and reply!
