Johnny, that's kind, thank you. And if I'm proud of anything it's being a part of this fine group of folks.
Bish, and not the first or last time you will inspire me, my friend.
Templar, thank you! I'd encourage you to try the Alclad. If I can do it, you can. Trust me. My dad used to tell me I could screw up a two car funeral. I though he was kidding but sometimes I'm not so sure.
Thanks Max! So glad you took the time to stop in. And it was a fun little kit indeed.
Mike, see my comment to Templar, you can handle the Alclad. I wasn't going to a highly polished look for my first go, just primed with Stynylrez black and applied Alclad airframe aluminum (and later some other Alclad shades on sections of the wing tops). Again, you can do this.
I can't comment on the Kills or Captain Turner, I'm one of those modelers who is happy trying to duplicate box art or at least follow the painting directions. I do know a pilot named Rick Turner and I'm really starting to wonder if this might have been his grandpappy tho.
Thanks for your kind words, BTW.
Waikong, how nice of you to stop in! Thank you. Still being a relative newbie, it's always a treat hearing from you more tenured forum members.
Stephen, thank you very much!
Hey, Bobby's here! Thanks buddy, great to hear from you and so glad you popped in.
