BlackSheepTwoOneFour TJ - I love the IL-2!! Is it1/48 scale? Does this kit comes with skis only or can it be built without skis? As much as I love to get my hands on the Tamiya brand IL-2 Sturmovik but they are a bit too pricey for me. I may have to grab this brand instead. Well done on doing the winter wash. Well done, indeed!!!

lawdog114Outstanding Johnny, Definitely loks the part. I have to do this on a Stuka soon, Can you tell what gloss you used and white. I'm guessing an enamel based gloss and an acrylic white, or perhaps vice versa?
Thanks for the kind words
Greg ManCityFan That looks fantastic. Kudos for trying something new, and double kudos for pulling it off so well. Absolutely! That finish is really cool, TJ.

Bish Great job on this, the white wash has come out really well. I like it with those skies on, just needs a wintery base now.

I absolutely agree with Dwayne! That is fantastic, Johnny! That's an effect I haven't been brave enough to try on an A/C yet.

Dwayne or Dman or just D. All comments are welcome on my builds.
I'm calling this done. This was my most ambitious weathering project yet. Fairly happy with result.
