I wanted to do just that, but my funds are less then optimal at this point, so im sending the best that I can.

A question to you, how many of you find yourselves sending your reticipant something that you yourself want to build?

what i like the most is, you move out of your comfort zone and build something that you might not normally look at.  i.e.: modern mbt or an early ww2 tank.

Allrighty my package is mailed off to parts unknown! Oddly enough I had a personal card attached with an explaination of the extra stuff but it was on my bed when I got home. Confused [%-)]

Thought I had put it in the box? Banged Head [banghead] Now this poor soul will wonder why I sent all this odd stuff along. May not have to worry though I may have gotten them mixed up anyways. Sent the wife a kit and this fellow a Fredricks of Hollywood Cheerleader outfit? Who knows? Banged Head [banghead]

Just recieved the box from X-supplier containing X-number of XXXXXXX(s) for XXXXXXX. I should have the XXXXXXX(s) sent out to XXXXXXX's address in XXXXXXX in the next couple days. XXXXXXX should have it for just long enough before X-mas to make him really anxious!

Big Smile [:D]

I ordered and shipped directly from an online shop. It was a new offering and I almost bought one for myself. Still might.

Smeagol is the Decider of course but I would vote YES to use your forum name on the card, but refrain from saying anything in public (forums)!

On the envelope, I would say no, just your real name, so it stays a secret, but you can put it on the inside of the card if you want.

Person who sent to me put 'merry christmas secret santa' (I belive) on the shipping box but not their forum name (if I didnt have anyone's info I wouldnt know who it was untill I open the box (I would hope)

I cant wait, its killing me, you know.  ITs here before my darned birthday, let alone christmas... its gona sit there, staring at me... always watching... always waiting...

one day I wont show up to class, the secret santa package would have eaten me.

The card isnt important, it was if you wanted to add something personal to it, but you didn't have to.

I'm gona stick a live turkey and pig in the box with the kit im sending out, so when it gets there (the way the mail works, SLOW) they will both be dead and ready to be cooked up for christmas dinner

I think I will be sending out my gift this week.

I wanted to wait until we do the family picture christmas card and do it all together but I want to make sure it gets there in plenty of time.

You got a telegram from headquarters today. Headquarters--what is it? Well, it's a big building where generals meet, but that's not important right now. [ img] f_armorsecretm_ac7eb73[/ img]

Got a package today. It's from a name I don't recognize and since I haven't bought anything from Ebay lately, I'm betting this is it. Really hard resisting opening it, but so far I've succeeded.

Hopefully the guy I shipped to will post soon that he recieved his. According to the online shop, they shipped on Halloween.

well, I went to order the items for my reticipent, and the shop I use seems to be having issues with their ordering forum.  When I hit complete it just sends me back to my cart...
