You are actually better off buying the set that includes this car AND a P-51 Mustang. That combo kit is cheaper.Go figure.

You are making quick progress on that staff car!

Here's a pic on the AB-41 that I started last week. Pretty good kit, so-so fit, hence the filler around much of the joints.

Looking forward to that.

Now that the cricket is over for a few nights, I can hopefully finish my Panzer IV and get back to the Stug by the weekend.

Cheers

Tony

I'm just taking it one GB at a time.

I have a slight problem. After glossing over the decals with the intention of weathering this kit,I decided I really like it nice and shiny. It just looks good.I can't decide what to do.The wife says a generals car should be clean and tidy. What do you guys think?I'm really leaning on the showroom look.

A glossy one would be a nice change of pace, especially if you put a nice 3 or 4 star general's flag on the fender!

Hmmmm.......I just realized that this GB still has no badge, and alot of people are finishing up their builds or are already done. So.......waikong, we got a badge idea floating around or something, or do we need someone to make one?Question [?] I might look around the net for an idea, if no one has any ideas for a badge.

Sorry about the GB, was just too busy to get around to it. I'll try to work something out this weekend, but if anyone else comes up with one first, be my guest. I do like the tank divided into quarters...

I just got the "quarter" reference. LOL Big Smile [:D] Overall I like the badge, but I don't know if many other folks will understand that reference.

Mg, yeah, perhaps that 'quarter' was a bit too obscure. But I was on the stop and couldn't think of anything else. Please, if anyone has another idea, let us see.

TD, that looks really nice, I even like the base. I was hoping to see the general's flag on the car though! Nevertheless, it game together very well. What did you think of the kit?

Also, for every finished kit, I'm thinking of putting a finished pic on the first post below your name. Is everyone okay with that?

The kit itself was fantastic. It's the price that usually sucks.I got this from GM for about $20.

I like the idea about posting the pics.Boba Fett is doing that for the Star Wars 2009 GB and it looks great.

I have both the Tamiya T34 and the HB T34 kit, and I've been toying with the idea of making the HB one a cutaway model.

Well, I've made progress on my AB41 - most of the building is done, gave it first first coat of paint, glossed it up, and added the decal.

I'm amazed by the speed at which you turn out quality models Waikong. Here comes another one.

Cheers

thanks, but speed is definitely not one of my attributes when it comes to building models. But the 1/48 armor I have to say so far have been fairly quick builds for me. But then the AB41 and the Kurogane have limited set of parts. Well, now comes my favorite part, painting, weathering, and adding details.
