I actually shot my M1 with a gloss coat this past weekend, markings and weathering to follow. Not sure how I'm going to go yet, but something with a twist, I think.

Axel, it's been an interesting GB, if a little slow......

I'm resuming work on my F-16. I'm now bashing the drop tanks to look like a tactical nuke/cruise missle.

Ok. I got the seat out. The thing is a gem! I plan on adding to it, and modding the side consoles with the Revell parts. Why could'nt AMT do that? And the AMT kit is like 20 yrs newer? That is one company which I strongly dislike...

Despite a more recent date stamped on the box, the AMT F-16 is actually a bit older than the Revell. AMT reboxed a ton of ESCI/Italeri kits, including the one you have in your hands.

What's up all! I've been traveling for the past couple months so I've not been able to work on my kit. I just got back into it yesterday and made some progress. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

I tok a break from my BMD for awhile. But last week on my days off I made some progress on the suspension. I will try to get that (mainly those dang indy link tracks) done, and finish up construction this week.

BMD's looking neat!

Pics sure are small.....

I've got a couple of pics on my M1, but they're not great, camera's not going to the proper setting. I'm going for a re-marked, out-of-the-reserves look, so I put on some "fictional" markings, then put more right over them after scraping them up pretty good. All the markings are from Verlinden's old M1 dry-transfer sheet. Latest unit marking are supposed to be from a unit stationed in Germany, 1988 or so. I'm going to percolate on it a while before I put the last coat of clear flat on. I'm not sure if I like the big "USA" on the engine cover yet. Also I have a pic if the base I've started for it, it's the beginnings of a European street scene. Comments appreciated......

Well still makinf progress! I'm trying to wrap up this build by the end of the year. I've layed down the primer and now I'll do some preshading. I still dont know if I should paint it Helo Drab or a ghost grey scheme. Here are some WIP pics.

Neat!

I did nothing on my M1 but did work on the base a bit. I just need to decide on the final markings and finish the base.

I've made some more progress! I tried to preshade nut it didn't come out the way I wanted toSad I'm still a little heavy handed on the airbrush but at least it gave me some practiceSmile I did find some areas that I will need to touch up then it will get a wash.

Sorry I have to renege on my build for this GB. Some major parts were lost or missing from kit. There have been some great builds here, it would've been an honor to on here with you.

Break that puppy out Boba! Well today I was able to get the Russian Green basecoat on. I used Mr Color and am not overly impressed with that line of paint. Their old Aqueous line airbrushes far better. In its' favor though the Mr Color had no problems covering the PE parts unlike most acrylics.

Tomorrow my goal is a gloss coat and maybe the decals...
