OK, I'll fess up.....I've "sorta" used them.

I've got a set on my Leopard 2A5 right now which is still in the painting stage, so they have not been removed yet for me to give you a complete evaluation if they worked or not. But, they did fit. No problems there.

Frosty - glad to help .... AFV Interiors is a fantastic site.

Eric - If you look really closely at the pics, you can see my Tiger collection too ..... they're crushed under the tracks of my mighty Shermans !!!

Chris, Jon, Latch - Ron nailed this one .... they're from the Patton Museum gift shop. They're done by an artist names Jody Harmon and are called the "Namesake Series". These are the only 4 I have ordered. These ones covered the two areas that I'm interested in, W.W.II Armour and the American Civil War. So that kind of elliminated Pershing and Chaffee. Nothing exclusive about A.A. having the Grant unless it's just a U.K. exclusive.

Ron - Forget it !!!! We're going to post like crazy all weekend long.

I've re-registered my son as Alex1, in case anybody's interested. I'll try to get him to log in and say howdy next week sometime. Computers... gotta love 'em. Can't right click to upload pictures off of RonUSMC's site, can't register the little guy without messing it up (my bad)... oh well. I guess practicing to blow stuff up all weekend will be a good change.
Could somebody put a computer downrange for me?Evil [}:)]

Robert, nice sites on the M32!

I've also seen prints like those available at the Patton Museum gift shop. Now, if my hobby area were only as clean as yours.

hey sherman freak, this is getting away from the post a little bit, but i saw in your desk pictures that you have some really neat paintings of some civil war generals and the tanks named after them. Im graduating soon, and when i get my own place id like to have a study where i can do my work. Being a history major and a soon to be history teacher i cant think of better things to decorate the wall with. Where did you happen to pick those up from. I have a couple paintings, of the arizona from when i was at Pearl Harbor, and a painting of the winter encampment of Valley Forge cause i live there, but id like to get other things to place them on the wall. im real impressed though.

A neat desk is the sign of a cluttered mind.

Ron

M1Abrams, I'll get those M10 pix and scan them for you.

HA! I say!

I want proof of a clean desk .....WITH PICTURES!

There you go ..... the work space, small as it is, as clean as it gets. Just waiting for another Sherman to occupy the space.

And here's the wall above the desk .... in case you accuse me of just hanging them on the wall temporarily.

Just what does "T" stand for? Time? Time (equals) minus eight? I know they went to positive numbers after a missile (or space) launch so if they were counting 'down' negative numbers T minus 10; 9; 8; 7... wouldn't it actually considered to be a 'count up'?

M1Abrams, I don't think I have any 601st photos, but will take a look. Do you need any interior shots of a tank destroyer? I may have a few of an M10 in the Patton Museum collection (didn't get to drive it though... bummer.).

Site looks great Robert. I like the way you did the frames with a new window opening for each of the participants instead of in the main window.
