Sean,

If I go with it, it won't be divine scale (1/72).

Pity, I guess. Oh, Dave, add the F4D Skyray to the list for me. I'm going for the double D.

Thanks for the add Dave.  I am very excited to do this build. Haven't decided what I will be building yet but should know after going to AMPS this weekend.

I love to cook. I love Cholula hot sauce. I love coffee. I love red wine. I love cheese.

Dave, please add me to the list.  Not sure exactly what kit I'll be building, but it will be some type of 'rat rod'.  Should remind me of the days of my youth when I would pickup a car model (usually AMT or MPC), a couple of bottles of paint & brushes and a tube of glue and have it finished in one day....finger prints and all!  Hopefully this time I can minimize the finger prints....

Dave- If 1/72 is divine scale, what would 1/144 be?  Just out of curiosity... Whistling [:-^]

bondo-I'm sure that would be a fun project, but for now I'm thinking Ford roadster with hot rod flathead or a '49 Ford (or the '49 Mercury that I have in the stash) done up in a very quickly applied coat of primer black.  Not sweating the details on the paint finish should cut my build time to make this doable (is that even a word?) in 48 hours.  But it is neat to see Revell re-issue some of the fun kits-I remember building the Red Baron's hot rod as a kit and really want to pickup one of the Deal's Wheels kits.

Karl, glad to have you join us.  Always look forward to your builds.

Frank, I haven't built 1/144 since I was a teenager and was less than impressed so I will not comment!  Whistling [:-^]

Dave- I'll take a look and see if I can come up with something.  BTW, could I change my build for this one?

(Thinking about a 1/144 ME-262A-1a!)

Frank, I like the way you think.  Wink [;)]  Certainly grabs my attention but I also have one in the works, I need to get permission from someone first before I can show it though.
