Dupes?
Only one month to go!
(I'd better start cleaning up my work area)

After much deliberation I have come to the conclusion that 1/32 is simply just not big enough for weekend build.
Therefore Dave please put me down for the Revell 1/28 Fokker Dr1.

Currently on the bench: AZ Models 1/72 Mig 17PF

Bondlikins, you were never 14!!! We need pictures.
...Guy Tom
Bondo, pull the other one, this kit wasn't released until 1957!
Dave, I'll post some pics of this kit in all it's lurid redness when I get a chance!
Needless to say I will be doing von Richthofen's red machine.
Now I just need to find a 1/28 Snoopy to shake his fist at it.

I've got a little 1/72 Hasegawa GR Mk.3 Harrier waiting to be built for like ever, good excuse to actually do it
Andrew
Time Zone difference should be fun, I get a head start.
Andrew, I'm sure Dave will along shortly to formerly welcome you to this GB.
Welcome aboard from me.
Hi there Konigwolf13 (Andrew)
I didn't realise Taswegians built models.
welcome aboard!! good to see another Aussie modeler in the group.
I'll be starting my build on Friday morning, so I will be getting the time zone + 1 day head start.

dupes ride was spotted outside !
Andrew, Welcome aboard. I'll add you to the list on the front page.
Sean, that is Freakin' hilarious!
Are you sure that's Dupes ride? I didn't see the big "L" for LycraMan anywhere.
Buddy- Those who say there are no stupid questions have never worked in customer service.
Summit, what were you doing in Maine without CALLING?? Without all of the locks, my bike looks like this:
The big "L" is on the other side...helps me remember which way to turn.
No wonder you have all those locks, that a Titanium frame. Thats stuff is pretty pricey now a days. Well my Mountain bike frame is not Ti but I do have a Ice Axe made out of it
Nice ride dupes, when I get to Mainewe will have to pedal some miles. Just dont tell anyone I was seen with a roadie.

Nice ride Dupe. Just got back from a quick one hour outing on the mtn bike. Getting a little chilly out but no ice on the trails yet so its all good.
Luckily I snagged my Serotta before the price of TI went through the roof...had that bike for almost 5 years now...hit 22,000 miles on her earlier this summer.
Razor - I'd stress the "yet" part of your comment - it's coming! Snowed here on Sunday. Meh.

Guy,
I'm not sure who or where I picked it up from. Probably some cheeky fellow here in one of the GB forums. At least he wasn't dressed as Tri-guy. Trying to burn that image out of my head but don't have a flamethrower big enough.
Here are a few shots of what i am planning to use for this GB. Glueing the sand paper over the jewel case for a base and then i'll start digging through my spares bin for a table and some tools. Hopefully I will be able to make a repair shop setting for my jeep. The only thing that worries me is if I can paint some decent figs in the time allowed.
Dougams, that looks like a pretty ambititious project for a weekend.
Here are some pics of my build, the old Revell 1/28 DR.1
First the lovely end opening box, always a joy.
And now the plastic, redder than Red Square on May day....
