No worries, the pics came out great and you didn't get the "red x."

Dang, that kit comes with a metal barrel too.......now I'm even more jealous of your kit.Wink [;)]

I'm telling you its pretty awesome. Can't wait till I can rip int it and mess it up...I mean build it into an outstanding representation of a T-62.

Anyone know where I can get a pair of ModelKasten T-72 tracks very cheap?

I've built the Tamiya T-72 before and if you're modeling the tank with the side skirts on then to be honest I think AM tracks are a bit of overkill.  Different story altogether if your tank doesn't have skirts though.

If you really want a set of Kasten's have a look at these stores

Thanks for the links, darson.Smile [:)] I guess your right, if the side skirts are on then you won't be seeing all that much. I guess I better go do some researching to see if the majority of T-72's had side skirts in Afghanistan or not.

Thanks for the link, M1Carbine. Unfortunately it seems both modelkastens workable and non-workable tracks are pretty much the same price......was sorta hoping one would be much cheaper then the other.

Ok, as long as it is ok for me not to rely get started until January, I would like to join the other Trappers. I will build a 1/72 Hobby Craft MiG-25 in green, brown, and grey camo from the last year of the war.

   Sorry for poor photo quality.

Sure, no problem.

Tommorrow the GB starts guys!! Hope you got your sprues ready and Soviet accent ready to go.Wink [;)]

Badges......some of you guys probably wonder why I don't have any up yet. Well I do have a reason for that, college finals. However I may find some time later this week to make some since I found some amazing artwork done by a soviet-afghan soldier. So just be patient and I don't think they'll dissapoint.

Komrad Sherman1111,

What a great subject! Russian rocketry is always visually unique, and the Ganef is no exception. I too will be watching your build with interest. Good luck Komrad! Have fun.

Sorry about the delay on the badges, guys. But I finally have some free-time today, so I'll work on them tonight, hopefully they won't dissapoint. We'll then vote on which ones we want to keep or get rid of......sounds good?

That's zero votes for badge #1 and three votes for badge #2.  Though let's wait a bit and get some more votes in from other fellow 'Bear Trappers' before I make the final call.

PS: You can only vote once, so none of that voting early and voting often stuff.Wink [;)]
