I can see it, and I like it. I also think it's especially appropriate, since that particulat tank has the tracks mounted backwards, unofficially, of course.

I looked at the box mine's in again this morning.

SMJmodeler: a few post back you mentioned you might take the riegns on this and organise it? You still interested?  I don't have enought experience yet to do.. and I did participate in Dupes 1000 Roadwheels and I'm doing the Winter Warriors.

I suggested a badge, and then a version 2.. I liked DUPES ideaYes of the participation badge, then earning stripes for completion...

No one eles seems to beBeer able to, and we have some building going on..Unofficialy of course..lol..

I also want to mention I'm not loooking to hijack the build from anyone or take it over.. No toes stepped on on purpose..!! Confused

Just looking for some more "officialness.."... Big Smile

anyone esles thoughts?

p38jl:  Sorry for any misleading info or misunderstanding about running a GB.  I'm not really wanting to MC a Pershing GB I was just posting the "unofficial" guidelines that we use to get one going.

My Pershing is 75% done..and would disqualify me anyway...

p38jl: Yes I did.  I actually needed to do a OBO to get me out of a build funk I was in.  The GB idea was floating around at the time and I hoped it would materialize before I started but no such luck.

just a post to let everyone know i'm still "unofficially" in this build, work and my wifes on-line computer class have kept me away from both modeling and the computer.should be trying to paint in the next week or so,gotta be in the right mood (correct lunar orbit,no sun spots, and i have to run around the house three times backwards .....nakedEmbarrassed ) or my airbrush just sputters and i end up painted and my models laughs at me smugglie . i'm thinking of titty pink with purple polka dots, however with my wife gaining knowledge on how to post pix  OD green may be more appropriate ...... we'll see .  rbaer all i got was a nice picture of your workbench, my computer didn't downsize the photo to fit in the box, sounds like it's coming along great though. like the badge too . i will update more later but for now i must deny any knowledge of this thread or the exsistance of ,or participation in any M-26/ t-26 group build ..... unofficially of course  LOL   catch ya'll later.

we're modelers it's what we do

Armornut, if you look closely at the stack of kit boxes on the left, there's the M26 I'm "working" on....

Chuggin' right along!

Unofficially, I just realized (I saw someone else's done right) that I have an error on the Tiran5 I "thought" I had finished. That correction may set me back even further, but that's an unofficial rumor only.

I'll be on a wheeling trip starting tomorrow, so no bench time for me until next week at the earliest. Boo Hoo

An engine! Dude, you're going all out! I like it.Yes

Sad to say, mine remains untouched......   I did however get some time at the bench on Sunday (NO and Indianapolis!) But I squandered it on a couple of other projects, of which my unofficial pics self-destructed.

Sorry guys I'm about 30% done and I won't get anything done soon for another week. Also I forgot to mention that this is my first 1/35 scale tank. Right now I am jealous of your successes whereas I'm still aplying glue to the glue. Well, I guess i have a different and SLOWER pace of modeling. I'll try not to hold you guys up. I'M SO DEPRESSED!!Crying

Hurray! I have modeling time reserved for Saturday! Getting the lower hull/running gear is "Job One".

Disclaimer: this is not to be taken as fact, and if asked, I will deny it all.

p38jl: Are you the official moderator of this GB?  If so, do you mind if I cross-post a couple/few of my Pershing pictures here?...even though I'm not officailly in this GB?  I thought I better ask first.  If not, you guys can search for my thread if you care to have a peek.  The tank should be done and the base will be started by Monday, BTW.  I'll post the tank at that time.

SMJmodeler: me?? the official moderator ?? not officialy I guess... I'm not sure if we really have an official one here. I created the badge after asking everyone and no one objected.. and no one else doing it..

My best answer would sure! we'd love to see other Pershings...!

but.. thats just me.. Smile
