Too bad about the 125, i´s a fair close match, som drops of blue and you got it... I don´t know about the 144 and 77, but try to see as many pics as you can SUE paints can change with the light in the moment of th pictures, remember that is no just gray, it has a blue hue.

About the 3-A-204, yes, it´s a sinking mark, that plane participate in he atack of the Atlantic Conveyor.

If you can get som aftermarket decals, they are ot expensive and will improve your model, all th kits, from Academy, Heller, Airifx, in both scales have wrong decals LOL.

Bondo, i think that paint must have been OOP for a very long time. I can't find it on Hannants, and i don't have it on my paint conversion chart. I do have a stash of Humbrol paints, i will see if i have that one, but i don't think i do.

Yes thats the one. The next best I can find in Israeli Duck Egg blue, which I have, with a drabble of green.

I thought Duck egg was an RAF colour.

Research hell has subsided for the moment and I finally cracked open the Tamiya 1/48 RAF Sea Harrier. The ejection seat is a complete joke, so I am going the after market route. As for my first day of the build, here is the engine...

Not sure exactly what markings I will be using, but it is my understanding that RN Harriers during the Falklands conflict ditched the white underside for extra dark sea grey and covered the white portion of the roundel, so I will be doing that for sure.

Third! third layer of white!!! i hope the four will be the good one.

For the light azure in the flag symbol i'll use colors and not decals

using flat light blue from model master , seems to me close to the real colour .. or not?

I think the light blue is OK (celeste is the name in spanish) be aware that the sun on the rudder must be golden, NOT yellow like the other Argentinian planes.

The Pucara has it's recognition flashes on- three coats of Humbrol yellow. It's been raining all last week, so I am giving the color two weeks to dry before I mask it off for the blue and tan.

that's right, even in italy are called celeste

so i finished with the celeste color (out of some final retouch)

rudders are painted (bottom part too) and fuel tank experimented to blue-gray camo main color.

Even airbrakes and well doors ready.

some retouch needed.

this weekend probably complete the full sue camo and start some shading.

Seeing some pictures just before the planes takeoff for the missions the exocet ogive looks like a kind of dirty white.

Probably are actual photos of exocet, but old photos seems with same color, just old pictures are little out of saturation.

The sunlight don't strike directly the exocet, then the color looks like light gray .my opinion is that are same color scheme seen in actual pictures.

The kit don't have the central pod (another fuel tank?)

At the end used the 40 from humbrol to paint the exocet ogive, also start the hud before to use main paint.
