Hi there,
I have sterted my 1/48 Dagger.
I am using a Mirage III CJ from Hobbyboss and a resin conversion set from Aconcagua.
The interior is nicely represented, but I din´t botter too much, just some dryburshing.
The fit is quite good, but you have to have some experience before you cut a kit like this.
I glued the wings yesterday (more pics tomorrow), but sadly one of the engine intakes is lost, I am working to get a replacement as soon as posible.
cheers,
Jere
ps: Looking good bish!

el_jere Hi there guys! Nice work around here, I specially liked the way the Chinooks are going. I have to build an Argentinian version some day.

Thanks, i am looking forward to seeing Helo's Argetin Chinook.
I have seen Hannants now have the 48th and 72nd Aztec decals sets and they both say part 1. I didn't realise these sets had both Argentin and British. Some very nice schemes on those sets.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3
Got the black underside painted and the decals on this week.

On the bench: Airfix 1/72 Wildcat; Airfix 1/72 Vampire T11; Airfix 1/72 Fouga Magister
Great score Azorean!
rtoo speed makes ugly results, too relax don't make results
The only downside I can see - All those great-looking decals.... and no Super Etandards??
Wow ! you could almost do a GB with everyone building one aircraft off that decal sheet.
Tony
I'm just taking it one GB at a time.
Arrived today at my home.
I´m speechless with the work done by Aztec
Decals are under way. And she does look rather shiny doesn't she. And not a drop of future in site.
stikpusher My Aztec decals arrived yesterday from Mexico! Ole! And I am now on vacation so I can get my Mirage finished up in the next few days. And perhaps my Sea Harrier too

Good news Stik, glad they were worth the wait & $. Bish - Chinook part 2 is closing in on decals soon as well??
Perfect shine Bish!
Have been able to get the gren on Thursday night, so should be ready for the black underside by the time i get back to camp.
Oh they look beautiful! And there are enough serials there for me to do ANY of the Mirage IIIEAs. Only tail badges for one build. But the sheet includes LOTS of extras... kill marks, national insignia, serial numbers.... very very nice and worth the cost. Some of the translation into English was a little rough I think, and due to the large volume of aircraft profiles and historical info on some I think a few others were short changed on historical background information.
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!
U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!
N is for NO SURVIVORS...
- Plankton
LSM
I´m still waiting my decals!
Tell us what you think about the decals!
Thanks Tony, this is going more at the rate i would like all my builds to be. I must put myself under pressure more in the future. Some more pics later on.
bondoman A question for Jere: My Neptune is green brown. Came from the bad feelings vs Chile in 1978 or so. You had the colors, but I can't find the post upstream in this VERY successful GB. Please remind me. Bill

Too many pages to sort through - I guess that's a good problem, right??
Nice deuce Bish. I'ts an unusal and outstatnding effort to get two Chinooks done.
Bish second Chinook?? great ;D
Able to get a midweek update this week. Not a great change from the last pics. After the sanding, i was able to get the Grey on last night.
I should be able to get the green on tomorrow night, so more at the weekend.
Ye, everything is the same. Even got the same base and Falklands patch. I forgot to take pics of the fuselage interiour before i put it together. Been able to get some paint on, should have the green on by the end of the week.
Helo - nice option with the next S-58 - I assume that machine was left in civvy paint & used for med-evacs?? A different looking scheme for sure.Bish - Chinook part 2 is coming along well too. Does this one also have the full-on interior treatment that you gave the first one?
Thanks, i am hopeing it turns out as well as the other one as i was really pleased with tha. And as this is for someone else, which i have never done before, i don't want to disapoint.
It'll be a good looking thing when it's done Bish.
Heres the update pics of the Chinook. I still have to do some sanding along the top. I have added the canopy but have no piccys of that. And as i am sure John knows to well, it was a pain in the butt.
John, excellent work on your Wessex and all those other helicopters you're bringin' to us. Very well done!
