Boyd, glad to see you still plugging along. I do have to admit, at least to my poor eyes, it's difficult to distinguish the modulation in the photos (might be the lighting). Could just be me.

I can clearly see the upper horizontal surface is lighter than the angled and vertical surfaces( I put your pics on my computer and changed the exposure rate) and the camo spots look good to me and I guess that is the basic idea of color modulation.

Blended in it's gonna look really sharp...if I understand the theory, the slightly different color panels ,after given equal weathering will give the 'modulation'....it's gonna be great ... looking forward to the next post !

Boyd: Really nice work there on the 229, um 222. Looking forward to seeing how she comes out, colour modulation is another of those new techniques I haven't tried yet.

Bufflehead: Very cool, if she's the Bronco kit I have one too. Pulled it out the other day and glanced though the box. This GB has got me interested again in the Battle of France and Belgium etc.

I am glad to see you have Smucker's Strawberry Jam on your workbench.  I thought I was the only one using that for weathering. It also makes a good joint filler.

Ernest - regarding the Bronco Crusader, will you be building straight OOB?  Back when they were released I recall reading about some accuracy issues, don't remember if it befell all the marks. 

I know Tigermodels.com has produced a couple upgrade sets for the engine deck, fenders and storage boxes.

Recently seen an upgrade for the 2 pounder gun from insidethearmour.com - their website doesn't list it yet but Hobbyeasy already seems to have it in stock.

I have to admit that these French tanks have really grown on me since this GB started. I used to have a bit of disdain for them, but kind of liked the H-39 and then learned to respect the Somua. This has been a blast of knowledge and builds. Thanks guys!

Come on fellas!  I used the peanut butter to fill joints and seams, the jam for sharp edge camo schemes   The PB jar is there, the label is just missing!!

LOL ...................Now thats a fully equiped work bench !!!!

Hey Tiger, I'm think I'm up to doing the Tamiya Matilda. I'm going to attempt it straight from the box. It's a very old kit. I'm hoping to do a great paint job and add little bits n pieces. The stroke effects are almost gone. I have some numbness in my left hand but it feels better. Anyway tomorrow I start. I've got a month and I know I can do it. After all it calms me and is therapeutic. I really feel a mellowing as a model. The builds here are way too cool. Until tomorrow...

It was told to the reporter  that the reason for the trees being run over is that the drivers could not see where they were going . The French tanks were practicing their surrender techniques and were being driven in reverse ................

I was hoping to get a little more work done on the Char B1 and German AT gun diorama done with the warm weather here since I like sanding plaster outside so there's less mess to clean up. Ended up passing several kidney stones and I've been out of modeling and offline here.  I did pull out the Bronco Hotchkiss H38 and did some work on her. If you want to put her down Eric I have started though I'm not sure I'll be anywhere done by two months though.

Ouch Cliff. My father-in-law went through that. Very painful. Take care bud and I'll put you down for that H-38. Excellent. 

I was looking back at the first page and noticed that 33 guys signed up! About 13 finished! Not bad. 

Manny was one of the first to sign up and hasn't come back since. It wouldn't have anything to do with the fact he's in about 4 other GB's?

Thanks, I'm fine now - just somewhat sore and tired out. I've got a massive backload of stuff that needs to be airbrushed but I don't feel like doing any of it right now. Good thing about tank kits is I can clean up road wheels and the track links while sitting on my butt and not having to move around much.

Manny probably forgot about this GB, after all he's what 130 years old???
