Dunno about the 2nd one yet

Don Hammer,

I think I'm game as well.  I plan on doing a Monogram A37 Dragonfly  and an Esci A-1H Skyraider.  Been laying low with work commitments and Christmas preparation, but always lurking in the shadows to read the posts when possible.

Merry Christmas to all my fellow mafioso!!

I will be joining the "family" on this one as well. Right now I am looking at a Esci S-3 Viking and a Monogram USAF Skyraider "Tour of Duty" version if I remember correctly or maybe a Hawk/Testors something or other (depending on what I can find). I know one thing, salt will be not mentioned or used again Indifferent

Well yeah Dupes they do as do I Big Smile However I just have to have 3 or 4 of their D model Mustangs in the wings, a strange vice to have I guess. Most of my stash is Revell-o-gram.

I'm in, just don't know with what yet.  Still workin on the Firecat, hit a modelling slump after the Weekend GB.  Will post pics over in Round 1 when it's done.  I'm thinking something kinda spacy.  Kit one will be Willy Ley's Passenger Rocket with Flyable Booster in all it's rivet covered glory.  The rivets however, will probably not survive.  Kit 2-TBA.

Now if we're already "made" is it still a two build GB?

I finally got around to check if my BV P194 would be eligable.

Its a Revell of Germany kit. I don't know if it's just a Monogram kit re-released by Revell, or the other way around.

Would an old Monogram sprint car be eligible as a crossover build?

Howard

Haven't decided if crossovers will be allowed, but if I decide that they are, sure...

I'm still polishing the rules for the build, and I figure that if I go with crossovers, they'd have to be less than 50% complete, probably closer to 25% max, in order to be fair to the guys starting with two kits from scratch...

And yeah, it's a two-kit build for the simple reason that you gotta be a performer, an "earner" ta get into "La Monogram Cosa Nostra"... "This Monogram Thing of Ours"...  Anyone can build a single kit, but it takes someone who's got the stones to build more than one, and in a short time...  And do it well...

Other than that, no pressure...Wink

Don Hammer if you please sir I have decided on my second build for the family. I have built the two P-51 Mustangs, Passion Wagon of Lt. Arval Roberson in your groups and think it only proper, and to show respect, to build the 3rd and final version of Passion Wagon in your group, Cptn Charles Weavers Passion Wagon. It will be a 1/48 Monogram P-51D Mustang.

I smell a trade coming on. F-105, F-16, A-37, A-4, and F-4 decals for various bits and pieces of your stash. Mmmmmm, trade.

But that Legend IDF accessory set you snagged is calling my name...! Angel

That, and you might still need a second kit for this GB. Wait, no, F-105 and A-4?

Just so y'all know... There's a price to be paid to get made.. That price is building under pressure.. The pressure is that it's a two-kit build with a deadline that will seem ridiculously short...

I gave the original crew a six-month time-frame from their individual start-dates with an absolute, drop-dead finish time for all of 30 November...

Still want in?

Whistlingyes SIR, first build will be a Monogram Wildcat, second will be ME 262 or a Hellcat

Hans-I'm going thru the stash looking for potential builds and a couple are coming up that I'm not sure would qualify-the AMT P-40 F/L & P-40N...both 1/48.  I know that Hobbycraft is making the F/L from the old AMT tooling so that may disqualify it.  No one is making the N....that I know of.

And I've got a lot of newer Revell/Monogram kits so I'm covered either way.

Thanks

Bob

When the "F-" did it become a two kit build? That l'il tidbit ain't been dropped in until now.

Aww, what the hell, I'll still be in. What's the worst that could happen - are you going to come here and kick my azz if I don't get both kits done in time? Stick out tongue
