I have an interest in aircraft that reached prototypical stage and may have even taken- albeit short- war careers. Obviously, a majority of this group would contain late- WW2 prototypes, and most of them German.
This is my first attempt at hosting a group build... first time for everything!
The rules are simple- any scale, any manufacturer. It must have gone to prototype stage and/ or taken some short combat action. (for example, the Me 262 would not count because it took a small part in WW2. A Volksjager fighter would be applicable because only a few combat missions were ever recorded.) Kits must be very lightly started- 10- 15% or not at all. You can build it out of the box or add as much as you want. Crossovers okay!
I intend to build a Revell Do. 335 nightfighter prototype in 1/48 scale.
