Wow Bish, Given the Alclad issues I think you've done a stupendous job. My first attempt at Alclad on my P-47 for the Jug GB resulted in something similar. Didm't necessarily bubble but it would continually create dicolored blemishes.

Thanks guys, your being to kind. Front page updated with completed builds. Well done greentracker for the first completion. Now, who's next.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3
greentracker: I'm with Joe Rix on this one. Given the quality of the kit you had it is an outstanding build. It's ok to be somewhat hard on yourself. Like Bish said, It's how we learn. Just don't stay too down over it. Looking forward to seeing more out of you. Nice NMF by the way.
gunner_chris: Nice progress so far pal. Looking great with the scratchbuilding.
Bish:Need I say more?? Looks awesome!!
I do apologize for not being here more often lately. The General at GM has me going to more GM Training classes than I can keep up with. It's been two days a week out of town now for the last month and a half. Still have a one day trip next week and two days next month. Within the last month I've been to Okmulgee, OK, Houston, Tx and Dallas 3 times not counting next week. I've been giving whats left of my time to the Butcher Bird GB. I have only touched my 190 twice in a month and my son is hitting me up for the Dauntless. Got alot of catching up to do.
My hat goes off to all of the participants here and to Bish for helping me out when I'm out. Thank you all for keeping this build going. Will be back in town soon, Joe

Bish it does look good
Well, its been a week, now we can't have that. So going to give that a kick with my finished F-86. If i was to say i wasn't that happy with this build, taht would be a slight understatment. I tried to sort out the issues with the bubbled paint, and it did work a bit but not completly. It got to the stage where i just wanted it done and to hell with it. I know, not very proffesional. But we are all allowed one bad build every now and again, right.
This is how it looked after the paint and Alclad.
Then i applied the decals, 30+ year old Airfix decals at that. So heres the finished build
I know the rest of you can do better than this, so lets keep it going.
Almost all of the vehicle is assembled.
Just the canopy to dry and be places on......and my turn signals.
Turns out my attempt to tint the clear lens failed. I was left with one sorta tinted and the other clear with a orange spot.
Chris, that is looking good.
Gunner - Batman would love that ride. We should all have one. LOL
A.K.A. Ken Making Modeling Great Again
The batmobile is moving well.
eveything is painted. Used this as a trial model to dry brush an instrument panel. Turn out ok, but gotta learn/practice somewhere.
the clear parts are coated in future, even tried my hand at tinting for the turn signals.
Bish - This is true. I've always thought of it as bad, Changing that thinking is the order of the day. Thanks
greentracker98 Thanks Everyone. I've always been too critical of everything I do.

I don't think that always a bad thing, its how we improve.
Ken, It appears to me that you have done a rather excellent job given the quality of the model. Your NMF looks great. At the very least, should you tackle another one you will know what to expect and be able to address the issues prior to building.
Nice build Ken, and well done on being he first finish.
P 38 Finished For a completed pic please use the 2nd one. I'm not happy with this build. But it's done for now. Yea, I'm going to start from a new kit (not Monogram: thinking Academy) and do it over.
Seems like your off to a good start Chris, look forward to some pics.
The sub assembly is done and its received its second coat of dull black.
Tomorrow I'll be assembling the cockpit and painting the instrument panel.
The batmobile finally arrived
How's the Raptor turning out so far Mike?
corvettemike I started molding the lower jaw in to my raptor tonight, waiting for some filler to dry at the moment then maybe I'll get off my lazy behind and get some pictures up.

Welcome aboard chris, have added you to the roster.
Ok I'm back on the forums and Joe talked me into it.
Sign me up for the AMT Batmobile. Just snagged one online so just waiting for it to come in.
deattilio: looking great on that Mustang. Nice work on the instrument panel. Sometimes it's just left to imagination.
greentracker98Thanks for the info on Bobe's, this is a new one to me
Anyhows youre gonna really like the EZ line pal. Always looks good and works for control cables too.
I managed to make a bit of progress on my Mustang – actually a tad more than the pictures here. For the instrument panel I did a Google Image search and then saved and cropped it in PhotoShop followed by resizing and printing in MS Word. I then attached it to a backing and glued it in place. It may not be grand but is a step above the gaping hole straight from the box. I also added a dam near the chin scoop to avoid a tunnel affect. The fuselage is now in one piece, awaiting a bit of filler for the seams that can be expected from a 1974-vintage Snap-Tite mold.
WIP:Trying to get my hobby stuff sorted - just moved and still unpacking.
"Gator, Green Catskill....Charlie On Time"
Okay Added a touch of realism. what do you all think. Too much? I muddied up the tires, but it's hard to see in the pics. Who would be responsible for keep it clean? The Ground Crew? And how often would they wash it?
My poor raptor needs some serious attention. I've only been working on it when I get sick of the Mine plow for my M1A1 that I'm doing for the Gulf Wars GB. I almost have all the filling and seams done on the main body which will leave just the limbs then primer and paint.
Thanks Bish, That is a really great looking stuka dio; WOW I like the guy sitting up on top of the fuselage. Reminds me of the older cars I had a long time ago, I was able to sit on the motor under the hood when working on them LOL I'm glad i didn't need a ladder to work on them LOL
Update, I just ordered some EZ line.
