Gamera -- I hear you on indie tracks, I really do. I hate them myself with a passion, I have only dabbled in articulated tracks so far with nothing actually completed. Give me vinyls anyday!

WayneC -- I know what you mean about being in a blocked situation, I've had so much work lately and been so far behind on builds for another GB, plus a malfunctioning airbrush and a sick pet, that I've not had a chance to get to the AS-90. Tell you what -- let's finish them as and when we can, if we're the last ones building then its no imposition to leave the build open!

Cheers, guys!

Mike/TB379

works for me. been i a slump/everything looks like crap since regionals but i know that will change. might be time to start the sci GB genre, especially since i host it.

Well, not sure now if I'll hit the deadline or not Mike. I had the friggin' tracks put together so I could just slide them on after painting. And now NOTHING FITS!!!  I have no idea what happened there- why can't companies give me good quality rubber tracks instead of those gawd-awful bits and pieces tracks- I HATE them...

Woo thanks Mike! You had me panicked there, I would like to get this one done but have been distracted by other stuff. I'm to the point of applying the wash but I'm not sure how I want to do it so I've been sorta putting it off...Confused

Oh! July 31st! In that case I'm a month off -- sorry for the panic -- I'm teaching 128 classes this year and seem to be stuck on university time! Okay, guys, false alarm!

Hey Mike, I saw where you've listed July 31st as the end date on the front page and thought I had a month to finish! I'm going to have to overrun, I can probably finish in a month but not in a week!

Whoops!!!

Hi guys, we're about a week off the end of the planned build time, but as always I'm more than happy for overrun to get projects finished (I had wanted five new ones finished by midyear, I'll be scrambling to get two done on that actual date, and my own AS-90 won't be one of those...) So take the time you need, let's say an extra month at least?

CN -- is that amazing artillery piece ready for the Honour Wall, or are there details still to go?

WayneC just fielded an extra project, so this GB is definitely alive and well!

Looking good, Gamera! Glad you're still with us, guys!

My AS-90 is on the roster for finishing this month, it's down to small details, running gear, decals and dust, really.

you aren't alone. i have the base coat on my DANA and the chassis and tires are finished and weathered. just a matter of adding 2d and 3d camo colors and some light washing and weathering. of course i have been saying this since January.

Still slowly dragging forward here, decals are on, I couldn't resist the awesome big friggin' dragon artwork!!! And a second shot of the pre-shading I did.

Castelnuovo: Where are you? I was hoping to have some company here at the end - I'm getting lonely! Stick out tongue

Thanks gentlemen. I didn't pre-shade her, so it must be the lighting when the photo was taken. She is painted with brushes so that might have contributed to the pre-shading effect, I guess due to the uneven thickness of the paint.

CN: Coming along nicely! Did you pre-shade her? Looks like it in the first photo or it might be the shadows?

CN: Looks good!

I did put down the final olive drab coat on the M40 and added the colour modulation Thursday. I keep meaning to snap some photos and forget. Hopefully I'll have the M10 done before too much longer and can start on the M40 in earnest.

Will do! Hey, looks like we' ve got some action coming up, it'll be great to see some big guns come of the assembly line! I look forward to seeing the BM-21 go together, I have that one in my stash too.

thanks for the bump on the badges. doing the badges is a lot of fun for me and keeps my hand in my graphics programs. i have to dust off the DANA to finish the camo by club contest next week. please take the ICBM off and replace it with the TRUMPETER 1/35 BM-21 122mm MLR  which i may go crazy on and pimp out. still working on the TYPE 87 JGSDF spaa. indy track. that's why i do warwheels though truck suspensions may be just as time consuming.

Wayne: Very nice work there! Have to admit I've never seen the show though, only heard about it secondhand.

CN: Wow, those are pretty awesome.

Well, washed the dust off the M40 this weekend - guess that's a start huh!?! Huh!?!

Hi Castelnuova -- you certainly can! If you need a bit of extra time as well, you're more than welcome. I'll add them to the list right away.

Oh, and my IT problems look like they're fixed, so I'll add Wayne's fab badges to p1 as well.

I made some progress on the AS-90 yesterday, finishing a last fiddly bit of camo and doing some touch ups, so I'm hopeful of getting back to the SPG in the near future myself.

Cheers, M/TB379

Can I enter with these two kits? Don't think I'll finish both of them by the deadline, still waiting for the mailman to deliver them.

Cheers...
