AI have built the 35th version as part of the 20mm Mobelwagen kit, but that's a really old one. I think the figures would add a nice touch.

Flak Panzers? I was toying with the idea of building a Kugelblitz for some time. Maybe I'll throw one in if time allows...

Little German fact: The plural of "Panzer" is actually "Panzer" as well... Panzer is the German word for armor, but it is also used for "tank", because a tank is basically an armored box of some shape with a gun and tracks...

I built the Dragon Kugelblitz a couple of years ago, for the Pz IV Gb. A nice kit. I still have to do a Diorama for it.

I've been waiting for this one. I would like to offer a 1\35 Trumpeter SA-2 on a truck with Egyptian markings. Should help ruffle some feathers.

Hey Shiv,  got you on the list.  Very cool!  Build!  Welcome aboard!

I'm just curious: Does an M2 Browning count as an AA weapon as well? I'm talking about the Brownings mounted on top of many allied tanks...

If you added three more and mount them on a half-track, you'd have a nice duck hunter. Whistling

I was actually thinking about one of those. Those Dragon halftracks are bloody expensive though... Wait a moment. My LHS has everything on sale right now... I think Ima get me one of those. THe Dragon kit is really nice. I tried to build one some time ago, but screwed up completely. I think it's time to make it right...

My LHS has a rather strange (but awesome) "reward" system for their customers. Everything you buy (except paints and tools) gets saved on your account. After every full year you get some of your money back (you basically get a gift voucher). The amount of money you get is calculated by taking all your purchases and multiplying them by a percentage that depends on how much you bought. I hope I can get HK's B-17 as a "gift" this way...

I can only agree with you. Looks like I have to get to my LHS and buy some. I'm thinking along the lines of an Sd.Kfz. 251 "Drilling" and an American Halftrack with the AA "turret"...

Greg: Yes to which one?

Eagle: This is my first diorama ever. I can see some difficulties with both summer and winter.

Summer dio: Getting the vegetation to look "right"...

Winter dio: I have no clue on how to make realistic snow...

Bish: I know it's shocking, but I'm trying to make up for it with my makeshift AA halftrack...

Now to decide which Drilling. Both the AFV club and dragon are nice kits.

Welcome everyone! The Duck Hunter GB is officially open!  I'm co-hosting this with Bish to get some training to host some GB's in the future.  So here are the first entires!

Pyrman64:  1/35 FIM-92 Stinger, 1/35 M-1097

How the heck did I get added to this list?! Huh?  All I did was ask a question.....  Granted I will join this build, but I'm still in the TBD mode.

when  I finish with the SA-2 and time allows I would like to do either a Hawk or Rolland missile battery. Maybe try and come up with a diorama for it.

I think that was my fault fro welcoming you to the GB. But I know the feeling, that's how I got into building a monster for the twin Boom GB.

We can always remove you if you like. Smile
