Sorry about that Pyrman, I got a little entry happy.
Be happy to change it to TBD. Just let me know what you decide on. Again, sorry.

Here is a little eye candy

A nice selection, and that makes 2 ZSU's. I am not into Soviet armour, but I have always fancied doing one of those. So I will be watching the builds of those two very closely.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3
Nice pile of kits, jbell!
I have some bad news though. I'm going on a trip to the states, but I didn't knew the exact date untill today. It is September 1st. Now what's bad about a trip to the states? Well, it's no private trip, so I have very little free time. That means that I can't do what I'd really like to do: Meet with some of you folks over there. To make things worse: I'm staying over there for 3 weeks with no time for anything, including modelling. So I can't start this GB at the same time as you guys. I'll try to keep updated on everyones progress though...
No worries Clemens, i'll be lucky to start mine this side of new year. Still got 4 build to do for GB's that finish on Dec 31st. We will all be here when you get back.

Wow! Those are cool! I see a Golden Duck in your future!
Me too, but I am not counting my ducks before they hatch
I would love to join this GB, but not sure what my current commitments will allow me to build. I have plenty of Flak/ADA/SAM/AAA in my stash to choose from. Something simple, and 1/35 of course...
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!
U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!
N is for NO SURVIVORS...

Will be great to have you on board if you can make it Stik. Why not see how your other builds pain out and jump in later if you can. I know it can be very easy to over commit to GB's.

Hey Stik, would love to have you on board for this GB. You've got plenty of time to see if it will work out for you. Just let me know. Could always put you down as TBD.
Yes do that for now. The more I think about it, the more I realize of that stuff that I have in my stash.
You got it stik! Can't wait to see what you decide on.
Thats a nice list! Is the "winter" 88 the kit I'm going to build for this GB?
Никто не Забыт (No one is Forgotten)Ничто не Забыто (Nothing is Forgotten)
I'm in Chicago most of the time.
Oh and the date they told me was wron. It is actúally September 4th. So I'm in Austria when this GB kicks off!
A Hetzer? I have Eduard's kit of that "cute" little tank destroyer and I have an idea what to do with it as well...
Just going through this weeks e-mail from Hannants and came across this.
http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/MM61701
I have never heard of this company. It looks nice and a good price for this scale. has anyone heard anything about this kit.
Sorry, I know nothing about the kit and the company... I can't find anything about it on the web as well.
The price is really good. It is even cheaper than Dragon's 1/35 kit and I think there is a reason for it being that cheap...
Just my 2 cents...
I haven't found anything either. I found some of these other stuff on a site, all large scale.
In regards price I would normally agree. But Dragon kits are full of extra plastic for different options most of which isn't used, and that has to bump up there price. And the Dragon kit is double the AFV, and that's a good kit. I think the 1/18th gun could go either way.
More searching I think.
so one in my LHS today for $50 USD. and we get a 15% IPMS discount than add 5% tax. also saw the 1/200 revell wheel bucket excavator which i just ordered last night. i may need to consider an ECLECTIC MODELGB
$50 is good, I think the cheapest over that side of the pond I have found is 60.
Count me in with a 1/76 Airfix 40mm Bofors and a Revell 1/76 M-16 Halftrack.
My father was a fire control operator on a 40mm Bofors during WW II with the 447th AAA AW Bn, Battery C. Battery C was awarded a Presidential Unit Citation for its actions during the Battle of the Bulge.
I'm planning a dio depicting the Bofors & M16 on the morning of 17 Dec. 1944 (they attacked 25 light, med & heavy German Tanks and a company of infantry).
I'm just starting to put together the parts for the dio and only have the Bofors, M16 & white metal Bofors crew so far but it's a great way to get started. I'll add a Panzer IV and German Infantry later.
Adrian
Welcome aboard Adrian. Eagle will put you down for your 76th Dio when he is next on.
My Great Uncle used to be a gunner on the Bofor. He was based up in the Shetland Isles, probably protecting the Navy base up there. and claims he never saw a German aircraft. I didn't know the Americans used them.
Welcome to the Duck Hunters GB Adrian! Got you on the list. Very cool subjects I might add and a super dio! Can't wait to see it!
Put me down for a TBD, don't have any AA in the stash but I have something I might be able to what-if.

Glad to have you aboard yg! Let me know as soon as you know what you're going to build. Looking forward to it!
I'm new to FSM, and Shivinigh has been pestering me to do a group build, so he's given me a Hasegawa 88mm Flak 18 1/72 scale. it's my first non-plane kit since I was in high school and i'm just getting back into scale model building. This is going to be fun.

Welcome Jacinth68! Got you on the list! And good for Shivinigh! You will love doing a GB! You really do learn a lot! We have some awesome builders in the GB that are more than willing to help and share tips and tricks. I'm doing my first car in another GB, so I know how you feel, but once you get started you just can't stop!
Good luck to you at Nationals!
