Bish Ernest, the GB is officially finished, but I think Eric is allowing people to wrap up started builds.

Thanks Bish! I'd really like to get these two done before I move on to other projects (GBS!)
I'll get something posted tomorrow! Assemblies are nearly complete. Just adding the little fiddly bits and then off to the paint booth!

Last Aircraft Builds - Hobby Boss 1/72 F4F Wildcat & FW-190A8
Yes indeed!
I'm poised to commit to finishing the jerry can rack scratchbuild for mine, that's the one great hurdle between now and finishing it, as if I mess it up I'm not sure where to go with it next. One strip of plastic to add, then jimmy it into place, and she's ready for primer, but sooo critical!

Looking great, Dan! You really set the bar high with this beauty!
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Is the GB still going on? I wasn't sure it it ended already, but I am finally back to working on the Dragon Pz I B and Italeri Pz I B Command Tank. Even if the GB is over I'm going to keep plugging away at both.
BTW, from just the last page it looks like some fantastic work has been accomplished!!
Dan, your Pz IV is a work of art! I wish I had stuck around earlier to see all the amazing effort you put into it!
Dan, has Dragon fix the road wheel issue, the kit uses the wrong size 38 / 40 cm and correct wheels should be 36 cm - I ordered the Tristar panzer IV Road Wheel set and use them in place of the kits.

Dan
Excellent work on your Panzer IV Armor86! The sunset colors look really nice. Picked up that Dragon kit a couple of days ago.

Up Coming: ?
Thanks everyone for the nice comments on the panzer IV - it was an enjoyable project and fun getting an interior finished. Likely add figures. Armor86
Dan why are you trying to convince us this is a plastic model? Did you steal a real Panzer off a museum or something?
This is modelling perfection!
She looks like a million bucks Dan, super job!

Dan, that's real "panzer art," and you've done a wonderful job! I have a feeling mine will be a bit pale by comparison!
Very well done,
Mike/TB379
Lovely looking build there Dan. Great job on the weathering and some great detailing.
Dan - very nicely done!
I like the different hues you got from the natural sunlight, particularly the warmer ones. Great weathering too, all those tonal variations give credit to a veteran vehicle here.
regards,
Jack
Eric, I got it finish - Pz IV 'D' - Photos below. Use a point and shoot camera taken outside using natural lighting. Armor86
Great work everyone on the GB - Thanks Eric for getting the GB off'n running.
Yeah, that wash sure adds a lot to your beautiful PZ.IV!
Wow, she keeps looking better and better Dan. Love how the dark wash is bringing out all the detailing.
Thanks Matt-Joachim - more progress - finish dark shadow wash and final details - Jerry Cans added with the smaller vehicle numbers placed. Spray clear flat to seal it before adding the last steps of weathering. Just need to add some sand and dust to it - Should have done this weekend and post final photos - Armor86
After applying filter
Dark wash applied
Completely dried after wash applying
Thanks all.
armor86- That Panzer looks GREAT
Those tracks look great, Dan!
Thanks for that pic of the ammo bin! Looks like I can use one of them without a lot of modification (it appears to just be a wee bit shorter than one of those from the resin set).
Found the website Deutsches-Afrika-Korps - Thema anzeigen - Which Pz IVs were hybrid D/E has several color plates which helped out - noted vehicle number 812 was researched and mention. Armor86
WOW Dan, that's looking great.
Spartan, wish I could help as well. But shamefully, my Pz IV reference is rather limited.
Panzer IV 'D' progress - it now has some tracks. Just a few more small details to add and finishing wash and dusting. Armor86
Dan: I'm really looking forward to seeing her all finished up!
Clemens: Wish I could help, maybe someone on the armour forum would know?
SchattenSpartan: Thanks yeah it does look pretty new, the commander has been taken good care of his tankZvezda: Thanks I'll pass your message along to him. Nice looking Panzer III you got there, 1/72 scale is to small for my big fingers.Matt-Joachim: Nice lookin' 109. I've learned the hard way that you have to me very careful with those revell decals.Dogzilla17: Very nice looking Panzer IV.Bobbaily: I like all the extra jerry cans on the hood and driver and passenger seats. Interesting way to paint the wheels, by leaving one point attached to the sprue tree.Armor86: She is looking awesome, all the fine details both inside and outside.
Schatten Spartan - I think you're in luck, since I've installed an interior with my project as well, enclosed some photos with the upper hull ammo bins. Not much left - just small details, install track, jerry cans, spare road wheels, AK DAK wash, and then a final weathering of dirt - dust. Photos. Armor86
Dogzilla: Nice work on that Pz. IV! I really like the figure you added!
Dan: Looking great!
I'd need your guys' help with my Pz.IV. Does anyone of you have pictures of the upper ammo bins (those attached to the hull roof)? My interior set is for a late Pz. IV and it has the ammo bins for the KwK 40. I am building an Ausf.E with the KwK 24 so I need the bins for the shorter ammunition which means I have to either modify the ones provided in the interior set or scratch-build some new ones. Any pictures would be very helpful.
Yeah, again excellent work there Dan.
Looking really good Dan, be great to see this finished.
Thanks Gamera - nice finish Matt on 109 - continue working to finish up the Pz IV 'D' - Wood handles and tools completed - Photos below. Filter and washes next up - Armor86
Thank you all very much! The 109 could have looked a tiny bit better but i hurried to meet the deadline.
