I have some progress pictures of the Six.

 Decals are only on one side but it's getting there.

That does look good! I assume those large decals were a paint to put on?

They are and they are kind of old so I'm being very careful.  I have had a few splits in the film but nothing disastrous yet.  There is no copyright date but the decals are by Scalemaster.

Sorry for being gone for a bit. Life has crept in and my whole family has been sick. I finally got the windscreen for the F-105 and will get it painted and on the plane today and get a good photo of it and post.

Thanks all. This has been a great GB to be in. Thanks for all the help.  I may be in for another build soon if I can get a jet model. Maybe an F-15 or something.

Canopy on, and primer coat on. Of course the primer shows all the imperfections, but as this is my first serious attempt at a model ever (instead of the ol' slap em together with goopy glue and brush marks 20 yrs ago) I'll have to learn and improve with each consecutive kit. There were some seam lines I just couldn't get to level out without destroying the raised detail.

Well, I have a F-106 and F-105 in the stash.

Well, I AM only missing the F-106 to complete the set, so, I'd be up for a 15/16 version...if, of course enough guys express interest.

I'm still standing.  Don't know if I'll get the TF-104 done, but the 106 should be no problem.

I would be in for a 15/16 build. I have something non traditional in mind if it's allowed and would be a crossover with my Star Trek group build.

Please tell me what a 15/16 is? I must admit my lack of know how on the 106 :-(

I'd certainly love to do a F106, but, I've over-committed to too many GBs, so, I gotta get caught up first!!

I finally quit procrastinating and masked up the underside for the red.

I'll have to go back and do the wheel wells and landing gear.

Love it 68...I've seen the stars many times in pics of that plane, but, didn't know it hid the stripes underneath!! Very cool...gotta add this one to my collection for sure..keep it up!

I know what you mean about sometines seeing a particular part of the model as "work" ;-)

But as soon as it is done and the results are as cool as yours then it is soon forgotten......this is who I feel about filling and sanding lol
