Well I ordered the decals for my 109 this evening. Looking forward to the chore of figuring out which scheme to use!

Know what you mean, ajd.  My Bf 109 comes with five options.  Haven't picked one yet, either.

Here is the rather nice wheelwell detail, it is built up from 4 pieces in the bottom section of the wing

Finished the Type 97 Chi Ha. It is depicted hull down in a crater waiting for something to happen.

The landscaping is excellent!  Very realistic and, well, dirty looking.

Do you have a preference for the photo on the front page?

You've got a lot of great looking choices, ajd.  Personally, I would find it tough to choose.

I personally am leaning towards yellow 13, with the witch riding a broomstick. But I an also really warming up to white 3 (right hand side half way down) that death rider looks really cool. Although I still haven't figured out why he is wielding an umbrella haha

My 1/72 Huricaine so far. Ready for final sanding.

Nice work, Theuns.  Looks like the kit builds up very well.  I see Airfix finally added the shell ejection ports on the bottom of the wings.  On their old Hurricane, I always had to add them with black decal stock.

There was a lot of progress up to this day.

I opened MIRAGE's box and took a look at the pit pieces.  It seems like a very nice kit, has some resin and PE parts etc.

That's all...

Modelling time has become a luxury I'm afraid.

The plane I shall build is the one depicted on the box art.

Nice looking aircraft, Z.  It has an interesting look to it.  I know what you mean about time being a luxury.  It's hard getting some consistent work done.  Still, there's plenty of time left in the build!

Now that's something a bit different Zvezda. I take it this is a Polish built aircraft.

Hey zvezda, I have that same kit, except its the Bulgarian version. I agree, it looks really nice. Except mine is missing the resin radiator sadly :(

Bish, it is indeed Polish. The PZL 24 was the export version of the PZL 11, Poland's "front line fighter" when the *** invaded. Since the PZL 11 used a license built Bristol Mercury motor that they couldn't sell as an export, they had to replace it with some French radial I can't remember in the 24. It actually held the world speed record for a radial engined fighter for a little while. The PZL 24 was exported to Bulgaria, Greece, and Romania. And possibly Turkey I think.

adj the motor was , I think the 700 kW (950 hp) Gnome Rhone 14N-07

It was only the PZL that made me think that, I recalled those letters being used for another Polish plane.
