Well..... I am still plugging away at this 1:48 scale, Nichimo Ki-45, "Toryu"....
It's not the kit that is causing the delay, it's using Lone Star Models' cockpit and wheel well detail sets that are. They just don't fit well, and require a LOT of patience and alteration to install. Add to THAT, relatively poor casting quality and man, what a pain in my ass, LOL!!
I'll post a few pictures later today of my progress, which has been pretty good of late. I have the fuselage buttoned up with the tail planes attached.
I am hoping there will be a "Part V" to this group build, so that I may carry this one over before starting my next Japanese project. I will pick that one after this project gets closer to completion. I still have the wings and wheel wells to deal with...ugh...and seams too... I think the next one will be with either a Ki-100, a J6M or an N1K2...(They are all calling from the stash...)
