Well..... I am still plugging away at this 1:48 scale, Nichimo Ki-45, "Toryu"....

It's not the kit that is causing the delay, it's using Lone Star Models' cockpit and wheel well detail sets that are.  They just don't fit well, and require a LOT of patience and alteration to install.  Add to THAT, relatively poor casting quality and man, what a pain in my ass, LOL!!

I'll post a few pictures later today of my progress, which has been pretty good of late.  I have the fuselage buttoned up with the tail planes attached.

I am hoping there will be a "Part V" to this group build, so that I may carry this one over before starting my next Japanese project.  I will pick that one after this project gets closer to completion.  I still have the wings and wheel wells to deal with...ugh...and seams too...  I think the next one will be with either a Ki-100, a J6M or an N1K2...(They are all calling from the stash...)

Thanks again for your patience, and I look forward to participating in this group build more so, in the new year.

Best Regards

Whoops, to stop any confusion I guess I should have posted that this GB is now closed and JGB V is now open...Dunce

Anyway Freddie, I'm going to answer your questions over in V which you've already found.
