Lew-Like Kim said, there is no need to apologize-you have put together and run some excellent GB's-and I thank you for that.

There have been some great builds here....and Kim is going to add to that group-very nice job on the 109-love the paint work.

I made a little progress on my 109-paint is on, first round of decals applied-will do the stencils tomorrow.  This 109 has the sponge applied camo so that will come after another round of Future.

Still plugging along on the 109....memo to self-never attempt a multi color camo scheme for a weekend build....

Here are some pics of before and after camo.  Based on the decal instructions, this plane had a 'heavily stippled' camo scheme.  I remember seeing that Helmet Wick's 109 had the same scheme and was painted with a sea sponge....so I pulled out the sea sponge from an old Battle of Britian GB (Wick's plane) and went at it.  Not sure if I like it or not but it is what it is....

Hope to get this one wrapped up by the end of the weekend and move on to the 1941 GB-and not wait until the last minute to get started.....

Those kind of Luftwaffe schemes are not an easy thing; you've done very well with it, bob!

Kim-great job on the E4-paint & camo look great and the weathering is well done.

Thanks all for the encouragement-still plugging along-today was spent on plumbing issues-still not resolved but that's another story-hope to do a little work tomorrow.
