Hey FSM,

I've been able to get my SEVENTH SoD rescue completed!

I've posted a photo below, but you can see the rest of the pictures in my "Hasegawa F-16C Night Falcon" thread in the Aircraft Forum.  (Note: Sorry, I tried to insert a direct link, but the function didn't work.)

I don't think I'm gonna be able to get another done before the deadline, but I'm happy to have completed what I did.

Thanks for helping me empty the SoD and fill the display shelf!

Easy, start off with good kits and it is 1/2 way done, the ones  you just got will defnately fall in that category :-)

Here it is, pitty about the tail decal but not the end of the workl.

I think this is a really nice well detailed kit, might be that my decals were just old.

The satin clearcoat revealed the decals in some places to have slight silvering on the edges, rather dissapointing after about 4 rounds of microsol and seating the decals into decal fix :-(

For brushpainting that is outstanding, well done.

as for my scooter -

After several attempts to mask and paint and hand paint the rudder I ended up painting the whole rudder red and cutting strips of white decal to sit in between the ribs.

The kits decals were OK however the large fin decals just broke up in the water so I am screwed on that, I will just get this model done now and set it away, pitty it had a real chance of being a very nice model :-(

The JU-H Spit nightfighter is done: Disclaimer: No airbrush was harmed building this kit.

I sanded the affected areas that the TS 13 melted and resprayed the dark marks.

Still find that odd Theuns, I only use TS-13 and have never had it blister.  But then again, I only use Tamiya paints. 

I used Tamiya TS13 out of the spraycan for the first time after testing it on other plastic first without hassles.

It went on nicely on the bottom white enamel, but the top grey enamel was blistered by it. I will leave it for a few days to cure and see if I can sand it out and re-paint the affected areas.

Maybe I will use the opertunity to repaint the whole top with the correct grey.

I did a grey pinwash on the bottom, I had to be careful of not going to dark and heavy. It shows up better to the naked eye.

As for the top weathering I am not sure what I will do yet.

Tony, pleas add my 1/48 Hasegawa A-4e to the roster. The Fokker D-7 is back in the box, it was all painted but I messed up the PE interplane struts, not sure how I will fix it....

I had this A-4 ready for primer about 2 months ago but lost my Moe Joe...maybe a deadline will help get me back into things.

So yesterday I started up again. I preshader the primer and added some lighting patches to "fade" the grey

I have masked off all the red ares and painted them....that was a real PITA but atleast its done now.

I've felt the urge to work on a 1/32 T-33 that I started in 2014. I'm not committing to it yet, but it's there....

Looks like a big job, I'm nowhere with it yet. I've just got most of the parts off the sprue, deepended the scribing of the upper wings, as it's smaller than I'd expect ona 1/72 kit, and I'd started the cockpit back in the day. The instrument panel isn't even done yet.

I'll see how it goes in the next few days before I call it out.

Time to post some progress on this darn Sabre. It has wings now. Looks very ragged right now, but hey, it's a WIP. Having major fit issues around the canopy area

The dark is pre shading for the NMF effect I am trying for.

Hats off to you MC. I've been meddling with the P/E on my U-Boat over in the Sub GB, and its tough to make it look as perfect as your does.
