Yes many tiny parts. The individual tracks really get the part count up about 228, 98 per side with plenty of extras.
With the main sections layed out just like the StuG III and Panzer IV, assembly has been fast. This smart kit has some nice a tight fits, the only putty I used was a small gap in between the turret square base and the rear part that has the exhaust vents. I glued up the tracks before attaching on the side parts, to make it easier.
