That seat looks great Toshi!  I can only imagine a figure in that scale...I just painted two pilot figures for my 1/72 Lancaster bomber,  and holy moly. ..they are small!

Brandon, Steve, Toshi, Justin, those look great guys!!!

I pulled apart the cockpit I'd already started on with my Tempest and re-sprayed the interior green yesterday. Hopefully I'll have something painted to photograph this week.

Greg, Hope your better bud, Just went through a spell of Asthma type ills with my wife. Antibiotica, steroids, cough meds, on and on...But shes doing better now.

Any way... Progress pics, Not alot but progress none the less...

Nice work on the pit there Justin. But just a note on the colur, the cockpits and exposed areas of RAF night bombers was black.

Bish, I was using the callouts listed in the kit instructions....they call for the interior green on the floor, and a very dark grey...just this side of black...for all other surfaces....I'm not too concerned, as once it's all closed up, not too much will be visible. ...

I got the wings on the Spit. I have a few seams to fix but nothing major. I still need to add the wing tips since I'm not building the cliped wing version.

Doug, best wishes for the wide. My better half has mild Asthma and i know what a pain that can be.

I have switched to Vallejo for larger scale figures and much prefer it. For smaller scale i just stick to Tamiya as i don't worry to much about finer detail.

Looking really nice there, i am likeing those colours.

Doug I like the Dark Earth color from MM you have there. Was that straight out of the bottle?

I like that Dk Earth colour too. Hey, great work everyone. I'm thinking about more subjects for this GB as I go. 1/72 Spitfires. perhaps a 1/32 Hawk in Red Arrows colours, some British jugs, I'm really not sure yet.

However, for now, I've put my pilot figure and his dog together. These are the Master Box 1/32 (54mm) items. The fit is really quite poor, but I find its usually easily fixed on figures in this scale. There is still a lot of cleaning up to do, but I hope to get it to primer stage today.

Cheers

Tony

I'm just taking it one GB at a time.

Bish, that's what I've been told about the vellajo,Thanks for verification. Thanks to you and Greg for well wishes for my wife, yeah spring time in the South is no place for the allergy prone. She has issues about every year.

Andy, yes the Dark Earth is straight from the bottle with a thinning with denatured alcohol this time due to humidity being high the day I painted, (rainy yesterday) it drys a tad slower then the lacquer thinner and as a second color it won't disturb (distort or bleed) into the base color.

Tony, sound slike you got quite a line up planned. can't wait. I still need to addyour figures to the roster so will do that in a bit.

Nice start on the figures, i usually find with most plastic ones the join between body and arms needs some attention.

Toshi, nice work on those seats, are those belts from the kit.

Yes, they are.  It's pretty cool as it's very soft to mold with.

Tosji, that radar screen is something else, the rest of the panel looks good too. Wish I had your skill at knobs cause mine almost always look like they have been hit with a hair dryer to the point of melting. Speaking of pix, soon, (I hope), I will have a few shots of my Tempest cockpit. Trying to pin down the color reference I am most comfortable with. Big horizontal stab and rudder halves are put together, hadn't noticed til I started assy. there are no locator pins anywhere. Still gonna be a fun build.
