Well here is the interior of my Ju 87 Tank Buster. Not really that dark as I have just "futured" it. Scratched some rudder pedals and ammo boxes. Belts are painted Tamiya tape with styrene rods to look like buckles. Cockpit needed some sprucing up....! One question. Has anybody else, while building model, got to the point where you are satisfied with what you have done then tried to do a little much and then spent the next 2 days trying to fix it. And it turns out much worse....That is the story of my "pit".

Got the topside and landing gear doors painted.  Waiting a few hours for it to dry before I paint the underside.  Then I'm going to give it a few days to cure before painting the landing gear bays.

Nice work everyone, hopefully I'll have all my filling and sanding done by the end of next week... Out of town this weekend.

I did not know that RoG has a new 1/32 262. I bet it is a beauty. All their new stuff is top notch I think. And priced reasonably as well!

It's the two seater nightfighter. The radar antennas are very close to pe quality and under $32!

Looking real good PJ! This is the second 262 I've seen built recently that is planting the urge to build one...

Missed  this one, thanks stik.

If you like the 262 then get the new 1/32 release from ROG. It's a beauty!

Here's a couple I did for one of those "Defenders of the Reich" GB's.

1/72, the prototype was a Hi Planes resin model and the S-92 was Hasegawa.

Those are nice! I built this one long ago. I think that it was the last model kit that my father gave me. Of course it was Monogram.

Why not paint the wheel wells first Keyda, then stuff them full of tissue to mask them? That is my preferred method. Or tack gluing the gear doors as a mask if they have no mounting attachments in the way.

Putty, sanding, and primer round 2 completed.

Once I get the black on I'm letting it cure for at the very least 24 hours.  I'm making sure I get no paint lift when I mask off around the landing gear bays to paint them.

I am going to get the Futura started this weekend. The basic body color was some kind of light turquoise metallic.

Unfortunately it got repainted red for some reason so good color pictures are not easy to find.

I imagine a sort of light silver green, like a mermaid's tail.

Oh shut up...

And maybe unicorn interior?

Seriously, nice work everyone. I'm buried in a "grampa" project right now but hopefully will get some bench time Sunday or Monday.

Got the F-117 primed.  Now to let it dry for another hour before I do more putty and sanding.  I just love/hate how primer shows all the flaws, lol.

Can't really see it in the pic, but there is still a bit of a gap between upper fuselage and the wing.

Underside.

Applied some putty yesterday, and did some sanding.

Hopefully I'll get a coat of primer on it today and see what else needs to be addressed before paint.

Been diggng around for reference on the putty lines and these are pretty good on this video starting at 7:39. There are some good views starting at 12:52 also. Some other views with the paint on show what appears to be a fairly smooth surface with no visible panel lines for the most part.  The rest of the video is a mix of different footage but has some good shots here and there.

I did my F-86 this weekend in a marathon build. I still need to take pictures and find a photo sharing site so I can post. Still working on the B-29!

Used PPP to fill in the scribed lines.

Several water dampened Q tips were used to wipe away most of the cured PPP and followed with a water damped piece of paper towel to remove all residue.

Next will be some Floquil Old Silver for the NMF. The tape/putty will be applied by hand brush using a thick greyish paint. I didn't scribe the top of the wings so the raised lines were easily sanded off and will get the painted putty treatment also.

cbaltrin, nice technical work!

Keyda81, Wow with the lights detail.

Stik, I think these are appropriate, right?

If so, I'd like to add the U.F.O. because Vandal and Rommel's Rod will be a single Mashup.

Great to see someone besides  me doing a Tomcat. Looks good so far.

Which F14 u building PJ? Dont see it on the roster. I Might have to do one as well!

Hi CB. I recently completed a Hasegawa cat as a comission seen in this thread:

http://cs.finescale.com/fsm/modeling_subjects/f/2/t/175809.aspx?page=1

It's not letting me post it as a direct link for some reason.

At the moment but I have another 10 or so cats on deck. I have done at least 9 cats both in 1/72 and 1/48, Revell, Hasegawa, Fujimi and Hobby Boss as comissions.

Hope you do jump in with a kitty!

B_one, the Tomcat is really shaping up nicely! Are you doing sub assemblies complete with markings like the tail fin?

Keyda, now your build looks like a 117! That black arrowhead shape.

Nice work everyone!

I was able to work on the F-117 a little bit today.  Got the wings together, and in place.  Letting everything dry, and if I get a chance I'll glue the fuselage halves together tomorrow.
