Getting ready to close “Gustav” up.  I’m removing the center engine cowling support bar so that I can show off the engine as a whole.  I’m going to expose the entire engine, that way when Mrs. Toshi and I view the final product we can enjoy the hard work I put into it.

Thank you GB Forum Members for following this build and all of the past builds not to exclude any future builds In the aircraft section.  I am so greatfull and humbled that I have so many GB friends following my builds.

Your friend, Toshi

Wow some great work going on guys!!! I MIGHT be in on this one but not going to commit to anything yet. Still have others I want to finish. Just bought Hase 1/32 Bf-109E Ádolf Galland' recently and IF I do, it will be that one.

These photos depict the Me bf109 G6 with the seams all taken care of.  As you’ve all seen in previous photos, very little if not no putty was used.  I like Tamiya White putty because it’s Lacquer based and dries quickly.  It also sands easy.  If thinning out is needed then a little Lacquer is all you need to add.  I have yet to add Lacquer as I’m very satisfied and happy with it‘s concistency.  Every modeler has their preference on what we like to use, this is what I enjoy working with and I’d figure that’s what counts in a hobby.  Having fun and enjoying your build time and I’m having one helluva time!  lol!

The horizontal and vertical stabilizers were adjusted a tad bit to show that it can move on this kit.  Just a little pose.  lol!  It makes it look interesting in my humble opinion.  I did it because I thought it looked cool.  Right now I’m taking a break from the bench to post this and then I’ll be working on the next step of which is the main wing assembly.  I’m get to work all day on this kit as my grandson Ezra is in Columbus, Ohio with his other grandparents.  So this is a nice break from having to watch him although Mrs. Toshi and I miss him so much.

Toshi - That bird is looking great.  Can't wait to see the color go down.

Nick - You're G6 looks fantastic.  Really love the camo.

John - The A-5 looks beautiful with that colorful scheme.  Nice job with the decals.

Chad - Can't wait to see this paint job come alive.  Really like how you're handling the various layering of colors.

Cheers, Mark

Ok, I finished this one. I don't love the paint color, since it looks a little off to me, but that's what Model Master had for the RLM match and I went with it.

That said, this one is cleaner than I usually like to see, but it was also late to the game. I chose this scheme because I liked the beer on the side, and Mickey Mouse packing heat.

Brandon, that is a great job on the Emil particpating in the Spanish Civil War.  Yes

Even with the minimal weathering, the subject really stands out to the viewer.

I've been busy on the Eduard 190. Paint and decaling all done. Next up will be some weathering. Hoping I can lighten the RLM 75 some with the weathering stage.

I'm pretty happy with how the cooling vents came out except for a couple of CA blobs. I'll just have to be more careful next time. I think it's an improvement over the molded ones.

Thanks for looking!
