Here's Nick Millman's (Aviation of Japan blog) write up on the  Japanese 109E:

http://www.aviationofjapan.com/search?q=109e

regards,

Jack

Or maybe I don't need to do any research... That covers pretty much everything I needed to know and a lot more! THANKS Jack!!!

Steve: Could be!

Lew: Now that's cool! I saw one of those cars in a museum as well as a Messerschmitt sewing machine! Guess times were tough after the war and you had to build whatever sold.

John: Cool! Always loved the look of the 410.

That and the German aircraft companies were not allowed to build aircraft after the war for some reason. Go figure

I guess no one expected the Germans to try to conquer Europe with a bunch of combat sewing machines... Wink

Count me in.  I've got several 109s in the stash (E-4/N Trop, F2, and G6), as well as a Me-262.  Oh, which one to build, decisions, decisions...

What the man said. People tend to do GB's around subjects that interest them, or the very least somthing they have in the stash. Put out a feeler and see what interest there is.

I feel like this is a safe space, so I think I can make an admission.

I don't have a Messerschmitt in the stash...

I'm really....really giving this one some thought Martin. It's been a while since I built an aircraft let alone a Messerschmitt and I've really been jonesing to build another bird.....hopefully with some newer skills.

I believe you got me this one a few years back for Christmas was it?

Just for kicks I counted how many Messerschmitts I had in the stash last night.  Turns out I have 19! Half of them are Me 262's.  Whistling I'll see how the new year shapes up but I think I could find something to do for this build.

I know right?? LOL!! 80% of my stash is now made up of auto kits and I've got 3 Messerschmitts with one of those being a Royal Class Eduard kit that contains 2 kits. With that being said I guess I've got 4.

Just funnin' lostagain. Hope you can join in with a kit pal.

Bish, I'm going to build the 410 however, looking through the links provided, is an Airbus acceptable?
