Steve, yes it is. I myself will be doing a Eurofighter Typhoon.

Remember guys, there is also the MBB subjects.

I am off work for a week from the 16th, so will be able to find some time to sort out the badges for both Gbs and get them posted.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

I'm really....really giving this one some thought Martin. It's been a while since I built an aircraft let alone a Messerschmitt and I've really been jonesing to build another bird.....hopefully with some newer skills.

I believe you got me this one a few years back for Christmas was it?

Ye, i think your right there.

If the Emil and 1/72 are your thing, Special Hobby has announced a future release:

I've got two in line for this at the moment.  I'm starting from the beginning.  I have built two 109's in the past that I know of, both the Monogram E.

Those are cool John!

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

I'm Beginning to think 2021 might be the year of the Messerschmitt MBB Eurofighter Airbus.

I'm starting with the Me210 but I've got so many others that would fit within.  Might even finish that Me262 Mistel I have

Question about the Airbus.  I have in the stash both the A320 and A340 - would either qualify for the GB?

Jack

We can hope. Bf 109 GB's are always popular, so hopefully that will carry on here.

The Special Hobby 109E is apparently based on acquired CAD drawings from Eduard's 1/48 Emil (which had originally been a 1/32 release).  There is some concern that it will inherit the same dimensional issues that had been created by Eduard.  So far I've not seen SH state anything about this.

I've tried superimposing one profile illustration over the other from each company brand,  and there does seem to be minor variations along the entire length of the fuselage.  Though someone has posted that the wing slats still appear to be too deep by about 30%.

Jack

I'm in if you'll have me. Not sure what I'll start with but I have several 109s and a Revell Tornado that I've been procrastinating about.  Also, an Eduard 110 and a started 108. Looking forward to this.
