Have a good Christmas and New Year holiday my friend. Cheers!
Crouched and ready.
OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...
Tojo72 fotofrank Well, I think I have everything I'll be needing for the group builds I'm participating in for 2021. Canopy masks, camouflage stencils, and decals. Now to wait for January 1st. Frank, where did you get your camo stencils Thanks,Anthony PM sent.

Count me in for what it's worth. My gb record is not stellar, but if i make it something simple, I may just finish.. put me down for an eduard 72nd scale spitfire mk viii for now.thanks.
On the Bench: Too Much
Will do.
Piers: Cool! And thanks! I was almost certain she's a Mk VIII but I wasn't absolutly certain. I have a set of Aeromaster decals for the same pink elephant but couldn't find the instructions for them. I may order another set though- I really fancy a with a shark mouth.
So Bish, please put me down for a 1/48th Hasegawa Supermarine Mk VIII if it's kosher by you.

Cliff,
I reckon it is the mk VIII (RAAF used the Vc and the VIII) - I was going to do the same crossover for the two GBs next year!
Ye, that would be no problem, let me know once your sure.
Bish, hate to ask this but would it be okay by you to switch to a 1/48th Hasegawa Mk. IX varient kit of that unmentionable aircraft and crosspost it to Piers /Lost Again's RAAF GB?
Edit: Hmmmmmm, may be a Mk. VIII- I will have to check...
Here's a pic of the kit I'm going to do.
You know I'm in Bish!!!! Pics to come soon, but I'm going to do the HobbyCraft 1/48 Vickers Supermarine Seafire XV. I'm opting for the the Royal Navy version.
Roster updated guys.
I love those ship models- I'd never have thought of entering them.
Bish, I'm going to try to build the Classic Airframes 1/48th Supermarine Attacker. I've gotten to a sorta love/hate relationship with limited run kits. Hopefully this one will be finished and not end up a British kamikaze smashed all over the wall...
OK Bish,I orderd the 1/700 Kajika Battlecruiser Kongo as she was in the 1914. Vickers sold her to the Imperial Japanese Navy and she was commisioned in 1913. She was the last ship that was build outside of Japan. During WW1 she patroled off the Chinese coast. After WW1 she was upgraded, uparmored and reclassified as a fast battleship capable of 30 kts. As such she fought in several engagements in WW2. She was torpedoed and sunk by the submarine Sealion while transiting the Formosa Streight on Nov 21 1944, giving her the distinction of being the only Japanese battleship sunk by a submarine in WW2.
From what I understand, the manufacturer Kajika is an offshoot of Flyhawk and concentrates on making kits of ships in the IJN.
I'll probably start on it after the Walrus.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Bish Thanks Harold.I take it that 2 kits in that set and your doing both of them.

Got ypou added. Nice selection already.
Put me in coach. 1/72 Eduard Spitfire Mk. VIII.
Buddy- Those who say there are no stupid questions have never worked in customer service.
Thanks, i did find it on Scalemates. I had not realised Airfix had done that kit, look forward to it.
Bish Glam, yes it is, assuming its the one built in the 1920's. Will get it on the roster.

Yup, it's the interwar battleship with the three forward turrets.

I have the HMS Nelson, somewhere in my stash. It was laid down at a Armstrong Whitworth shipyard, so I am in if it qualifies. I think it is the Airfix 1/600 iteration.
Thanks frank.
Bish, the Mk. VIII is 1/48 scale.
