That looks like a great kit Bish
Finally shot the gull gray on and polished the paint to smooth out the finish.
Masked the front for the black paint.
Masking tape removed
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
I am rarher enjoying it and its going together well. I will be focusing on this build this week as the Scimitar has gone really quick and is almost ready for paint, so i reckon i will have the hull of the 109 done by the weekend at least.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3
Ooo...that is an exciting kit! I have the A6 release going in the Secret Santa GB. Santa was extremely generous.

Got starte on my entry last nigt, AFV Club's 35th M109A2. Along with a Scimitar i am bulding at the same time, these are the first AFV club kits i have built that are not 251's, so looking forward to it.
I'm adding Fruil tracks, Voyager PE and Star decals. I am doing the vehicle on the right, from the 4th Arm Brig.
Spent a couple of hours on it last night and got the running gear adde.
And then started on the upper hull.
Going well so far, nice fit with just the usual AFV pour stubs on the inside that have to be removed. A bit more plastic then i will start adding PE.
That looks sweet. Can't to see what it looks like with the overcoat.
looking good JB
got the marbling coat done and polished it with 2800 grit pads in prep for the topcoat.
I do like the jaguar, being based on the outskirts of Norwich these were a common site above the city. Nice start on that JB, look forward to seeing more.
Interesting lines on that one JB. Look forward to the next update. Enjoy your vacation!
That Cat is coming along nicely PJ! That is one of my favorite modern aircraft, maybe I should get around to building one...
Started a little on the Jaguar. I don't know about the unpainted PE cockpit detail at this scale, its difficult to make the detail stand out.
Fuselage buttoned up and the wings on. The fit was quite good
Going on vacation next week before my busy summer at works kicks off so it may be a while before I make any more progress
Well, hello! I wonder if that would pass muster in today's USN.
The Queen has wings. Fuel tanks are clamped and cooking.
Love the sexy nose art
Glamdring That cockpit looks sweet! And a collector's item to boot from Squadron. Wonder who bought all their molds for the AM sets, hope someone did.

Thanks John. They used to have some great sales on stuff just like this pit set that I paid like $8 or less . I bought decal sheets for.50 each. The decals for the 1/48 checkerboard F84 that I had in the aircraft section as aWIP only cost me .50!
I don’t have a box for my Tomcat. It was bagged and passed down to me by a friend but it’s a 1/48 Italeri F14A re popped by Testors. The kit has recessed panel lines and very good parts fit, much better than the old Revell cats except for the pit, Revell’s being better detailed.
My subject is the “Queen of Spades” from VF-41 assigned to the USS Theodore Roosevelt during Operation Desert Storm.
I forgot to photograph the resin pit package prior to building it, my bad but this is the package. I got it during a Squadron sale a while back.
The completed resin pit. The seats are next.
Fuselage and wings are together.
Glamdring You got it, welcome to the build! Can't wait to see another of your Tomcat builds.

Thanks Glam. I love these cats specially the ones with nose art.
Please put me down for a 1/48 Testors/Italeri F-14A with markings from VF41, USS Theodore Roosevelt.
JBRaider Well I was set to start on my Jaguar and decided that the cockpit was too bare so I sent off for some reinforcements from Eduard. Looks like I am all set to get started now!

Look forward to seeing this one, one of mty favorite modern aircraft.
Thanks guys! That F15 was.......an adventure!
Just because I am finished my actual submission doesnt mean I am finished! lol . I am gonna keep poking around to see what's happeneing in here and see the awesome builds taking place! Also, I have both the Revell A10 and Revell A6E in the stash, one of them (maybe both) are planned for the Close Air Support Group Build, and I plan to share them here if the both become Gulf War builds...

Mortal as I am,I know that I am born for a day. But when I follow at my pleasure the serried multitude of the stars in their circular course, my feet no longer touch the Earth...
Looks like that will turn into quite a project there!
Looks loke the Phantom is well in hand, can't wait to see more!
Nice job on the F-15!
I'm not sure when this kit was made but I think it's the best fitting Italeri/Testors Phantom I've built yet. I'm getting very little gaps that need to be filled.
On Ed's bench, ???
Those builds are absolutely brilliant, well done AA and Justin!
Hello Justin!
That F-15 looks really good - you got that grey paint spot on. I like the pilot, too!
In the early nineties they organized an air show in my home town (Poznań). It was one of the first times when our allies and former enemies (The US!) showed off their equipment. Among others there was an F-15 with Iraqi kill markings there...
Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

Finished Pics! I think the second photo would look nicely on the front page, if you agree...
I have also wrapped up my offering for this group build. I will start by adding my back log of in process photos:
Completed oils work to increase contrast between the two shades of gray:
All the odds and ends and dangly bits added:
Finished pics in next post!
WOW! Amazing work! looks great! I dont stick with any one genre, but armor is one I havent really gotten into, and I feel like I wouldnt know where to start! You knocked it out of the park!
Alright, here's the final reveal, the M-60A1 is DONE. Glamdring, you can use the first photo in this sequence for the front page gallery. Thanks.
