Cool we got the sticky. Now if we can find out anything about the patch that luke came up with. Well went ahead and did the 50 mile drive to the other LHS and got the other three paints that I needed. The real messed up thing is the number that they give out for interior grey-green is RLM 02 grey and the number they had for dark grey was actually Euro grey 1. Oh well I got another kit while I was the anyway lol. Tommorrow I will start working on the interior for the Il-2m3 and the Yak-1. So maybe on monday I will have some pics posted.

9x19mm - I assume you mean the one I quickly put together? You'll have to ask EasyCo whether we can use the badge now or when we finish our models. Personally I prefer to leave it until you complete your masterpiece. And everyone else has to decide if they like this one or would like to nominate another.

I would like to join this build also. Could someone let me know what it involves? I have never been a part of a group build before. I have an TBM-3D Avenger that I got at a Hobby Lobby 50% off sale. I didn't know when I would start it since I don't know if I can do it justice but what the heck. For this group build I will try it. So if someone could please tell me what this involves I will gladly be a part. Only thing is I will not be able to start for a week or two.

This is my first AM kit, I am doing a RAF Mustang and so far I am not impressed with the kit. Mine is not fitting right, looks like alot of gap filling and sanding for me. Has anyone else had this problem with these kits? I thought for the $$ you spend on this kind of kit you would not have these kind of problems.

Just got my A-36 Apache today, along with a Three Guys Replicas decal sheet. It will be marked as "Herschel IV," as she arrived in Algeria. I also got the Eduard PE set, which includes the dive brakes. I plan on having these open. I had forgotten that the canopy center section is one piece. Looks like I gotta order another vac canopy !

Black Eye [B)]Boy oh boy, The IL-2m3 is NOT as good! I was talking about the cockpit. Now that is good. But the wings! OH MY! Theres like a quite a gap. On both side of the fusalage vs root wing. There's about 1/16" or just a little less than 1mm( For our friends the rest of the world.Wink [;)] ) I had before the IL-2 single seat its pretty good but not the m3. Disapprove [V]

Are all AM instrument panels clear? The one in this SBD5 kit is. How do you guys go about painting them? I think there are some opportunities for ideas here.

Hey thanks John (easyco) for those links, you rock. Thanks for the gap warnings in the wing moldings to; everyone is talking about. Fill them in with a thin strips of Styrene and filler putty. I have heard people say they use "gap filling super glue" but have never seen this stuff let alone used it. Any of you salty-dogs out there use this stuff, tell me all about it and where I can get it if it is worth it. -Jeff

The Stormavik is almost done. I have to wait for the do-dads stuff...Like the bombs and the wheels like that.

This is AeroMaster "Sturmoviks Pt. 3" The Avenger wears standard colors, earth brown, olive green and sky blue.
