I have the main airframe together now and now I am in the process of filling those horrid gaps and seams! Strip stock and putty are being used in quantity! I do not have a digital camera right now but I will use my standard 35mm and scan some photos soon. Great builds so far everyone!!!Thumbs Up [tup]

Hi Everyone,
Thought I'd drop by. I haven't really got much further with my Lightning, but I still plan to get it done. It's all a question of balance really, a bit of this build, a bit of that one.
Cheers
Tony

I'm just taking it one GB at a time.

jcheung5150....nice T-72.

I think the olive drab looks pretty good on her and the weathering is spot on.

Nice one.

thanks but to be honest, I wish I had used a desert scheme, I think the details of the tank would stand out better that way than with a OD base. But it was a pleasure to build and I definately will be building more Soviet tanks in the future!

A minor update for you. I've managed to deal with the fit issues I had with the wings and now they fit perfectly. Just polishing a few seams on the engine pods right now and I've applied some Future to all of the "glass"

Well, I'm all done. This one took forever, and the pics just came out crappy, but oh well:
All comments welcome:

zokissima------------> I dont usually use this word but...You did an AWSOME  job on this group build.  Your weathering and the addition of the ground work are just great, thanks for the show.

I quite agree with this statement. If only my work would turn out half as good I'd be happy.

What a build! I am still doing the gaps on the F-106! I got myself a big bottle of gap filling super glue. I am going to need it!

VooDoo update.

The silver one is lacking about 1 hour of work and the blue one needs about 3 more hours of work.  All I know is I can see light at the end!!!

Okay. Lets call this one to an end. Yall did really good and once again I didn't finish. I had a major disaster with my MiG this week and I've put it into deep storage. I'll try and finish something else for this but it will be awhile due to  other commitments. The MiG was found Tuesday morning under a stack of books that my cat had evidently didn't want on the book shelf with her. It's repairable (maybe) but it's going to take some major work to get respectable looking.
