                        I'm building a JU87B-2 (Airfix). At times I get fed up with the Airfix kit and consider getting a Hasegawa JU87D instead, but then I think I should just stick it out.

                        I found some more pics (drawings actually) of a JU87D interior, I'll try to post those tonight as well.

                        Does anyone else have the "Cockpit" 2005 calendar? I flipped to April and it's a great color shot of the ju87 G-2 instrument panel and stick. Some of the instruments are missing, but it's still cool!

                        I just ordered a new canopy for my Stuka so it should make it that little bit better, my stuka is on its way so I should be able to start it in a few days or so!

                        P.S gnsnow did you find that issue of AEROPLANE?

                        No, the Aeroplane Monthly website doesn't list back issue contents on their website (but their AeroARCHIVE is very interesting), and my LHS doesn't stock it.

                        Well, I picked up my paint so I'm starting the interior. I'll post progress pics soon, I hope! My brother's moving up from Pennsylvania tonight, staying with us indefinitely... So we'll see how much I get done!

                        I'm still lurking. I've started rebulding the interior of my Airfix. I removed all of the kit interior and have built in new bracing, a few bits and pieces, and put in the Eduard PE pieces (for the left side of the fuselage). I also reshaped the air intake on the nose section, and I'm still working on cleaning that mess up. I'll post some pic's when I get a chance (this weekend I hope???). My Stuka is about to take a back seat until May though. I have to get another project done so it can ship to TX by May 1st - USS Flasher - SS249 - tribute piece. It's going to be shown at the National SubVet's convention in New London, CT mid-May (hopefully it looks good after the rush)!

                        I'm still here but I have not started yet. I took a job in another province and will be leaving in a week so nothing is going to happen for a little while. THe good/bad news is I am going to be on my own without my family for awhile so I will have lots of time to sniff the styrene. Just don't know when I will be able to post pics again.

                        Wow its been pretty quite around here ! Hows everyone going on there builds? I found out that I won't recieve my model for at least 2 more weeks because they have it on back order! , So I've been busy gathering all the information I can find on the Stuka in general and I now have about 20pgs worth of information on all the different variations plus many cutaways and detail drawings so I'll be ready to build when I recieve my kit!

                        I'm going to be stalled until mid-May on mine - end of school and another pressing project. BTW - I'd like a heads-up on any good images of interiors (other than those I posted). I'm still lurking though, trying to keep up with everyone else's progress.

                        So far in my detailed research I haven't yet come across any good pictures of stuka interiors but I'm still compiling my referance and I've got a huge folder full of drawings and info , so if I find any good pics I'll post them in for everyone!

                        Sorry guys, I know it's been quiet, but I am with gsnow in lurk-mode right now. I'm just too busy with school right now to dedicate myself to any serious 'build-time.'                         Wow good interior photos are so hard to find these days , even for something as famous as the Ju87 , I posted a question asking for pictures and cutaways in the aircraft forum so maybe they can help a bit? I searching for info on the Ju87B variant which isn't as popular as the D variant so its quite difficult finding good referance about it but I've got a long time before my model even arrives so I'll keep searching!

                        Hey, here's some pics for Stuka_69...and anyone else who needs em'!
                        he 1st pic contains a line drawing of the Ju-87s cockpit layout....the photo next to it is the radio equipment in the gunner's compartment of a Ju-87A, and below id the controls of the front office of a Ju-87B.

                        The following is specific to Ju-87D series:
                        Top Left, radio equipment
                        Center left, rear fuselage, right side (Gunner's compt.)
                        Center right, Left side of pilot's cockpit
                        Bottom left, Pilot's floor window and surroundings
                        Bottom right, Experimental radio equipment of the Ju-87V-11 prototype

                        Hey guys. I started my cockpit but I'm missing the control stick. I have to scrounge around and see what I can dig up that looks like it, but I got discouraged and started my concorde too! I'll try to get some pics up this weekend.

                        That helps fill in the blanks for me as well.

                        Good luck on that control stick lerxst1031. It wouldn't be too difficult to scratch a new one if you had to (I'm thinking about it myself).

                        I'm about to be done with school (forever, unless I decide to go to grad school, or get my M.E.), and I'm about to be done with my other major pressing project (USS Flasher for the National Subvets convention in mid-May.                         Ive got fujimi's 1/72 StukaB/R Immellmann kit , which looks amazing except for the scarce cockpit detail which I'm going to have to upgrade , except for that the kit is going to be pretty much OOTB.
                        Ive taken a photo of the kit staaight out of the box which I'll post to show you all the amount of parts and detail !

                        Right her are two photos of all the sprues which I'm using!

                        This is the first half of the sprue which has all the small detail parts , I bought a set of new vacuformed canopys as I'm wanting to have the canopy open so you can see the cockpit detail.


                        This pic shows the two fuselage halfs and the wings , which both have very nice finely ingraved detail.

                        All up this kit is a very nice kit with the exception of the cockpit and will be a beauty when she's finished !
